  1. Thanks again Don! For anyone interested, Don had purchased some vinyl which is very similar in pattern to his Hopnel accessories. I was able to bring the vinyl into his saddlebag covers and had a bit of vinyl left over. Don told me to keep it. So if you have Hopnel accessories like Don's now is the time to ask for a gas cap cover, as I have a small amount of vinyl left and I'm not sure if I can locate the same pattern. Take a look at the gas caps on this page: http://www.acehighleathers.com/motorcycle/other-cool-stuff/ Prices start at $50 plus $5 shipping. Spring has sprung! Be safe and enjoy!
  2. I remember when my car was in the garage and the garage always stayed a bit warm because the forced air unit leaked some warm air. Fast forward, the car is now outside, the bikes (mine and his) are inside and the garage is now my shop. All I can say is thank God for heated car seats!
  3. Hi Guys, First off thank you Freebird aka Don for the post regarding the free shipping on the lid covers. I plan on running specials from here on out to help everyone out a bit. Next is the Hershey Pa. I sharpened my pencil, did some math and unfortunately I will be unable able to attend. $$$$$ don't pan out How it got started is that Star Touring had asked me to put on another clinic as the one I did last year in Reno NV was a success. Expected crowd was about 15-20 LOS girls and we had 62 both men and women. Next year with the event being held in the mid west, I'll take another look. I sincerely wanted to meet a lot of you guys! Hey I'll show up somewhere east of the Rockies someday. Mike G in regards to the bike gas cap cover. Shoot me an email or give me a call and we'll talk about the stolen gas cap. This is the second time this has happened, hell should I take it as a compliment? Gary I'm anxious to get started on the transformation of that pitiful gas tank! That's what I call fun in leather world! Rick H you're the best and one of my long time customers turned friend. Thanks! Ok, everyone, I won't say what but there are some "things" being donated to both the VR rally and the party at Freebird's house...other than saying thank you in advance for telling others about my name...need I say more?
  4. You guys have NO idea how much I enjoy my work! You also have no idea about how much I love specializing in Yamaha's (oops did I say that?) I was never around bikes until about 10 years ago. I thought motorcycles were loud, obnoxious and why would girl want to mess her hair up? So I cut my hair off and learned how to ride, that took care of that concept! I'm truly blessed! Thank you! You guys Rock!
  5. Thank you for the kind words Don! The free shipping special is running from now until March 31st and is a "jump start" on the upcoming riding season. Please allow 2-3 for delivery. For more information on the saddle bag lid covers visit: http://www.acehighleathers.com/motorcycle/other-cool-stuff/
  6. Thank you for the compliments Don! I did not enjoy my work as much as I do now. I am constantly in touch with Yamaha owners and boy do you guys have a sense a humor! FYI, these would be considered custom covers and the prices would differ depending on what you would want. Now about the speedos....the hardest part was figuring out just where to put the decorative braid which he requested as he wanted those to match the bib, lid covers and the trunk covers. Oh and Don, as they say on the V Four's Rock forum, "it don't mean nothing without a picture".
  7. We sent some from Ken (Meek and Jones Pump Co) and myself (Ace High Leathers). We're both in business for ourselves and boy do we understand! We wish him the very best! Blessings from California! Ken and Nanci Rogers
  8. You're getting a "two thumbs up" from me and my husband Ken who completely recovered from prostrate cancer thanks to Loma Linda Medical Center and proton treatment. :cool10:We didn't even know that there was a such a thing as Prostrate and Men's Cancer awareness going on. Guess we've either been asleep or it's been played WAY down in our area because aside of black and orange for Halloween, all you're seeing around here is Pink then its time for Xmas! Good luck! Nanci, "Leather lady" http://www.acehighleathers.com
  9. Hi you guys! I've gotten to know several of you and I can only say THANKS! for spreading good cheer about my work. A friend who owns a Midnight RSV asked me to incorporate his wood grain trim gas tank piece into a bib. We came up with something that surprised me with its simplicity and usefulness as he wanted a VERY small pocket at the bottom to hide his heating gear wire. It looks very cool:cool10: I'm not good with photos on this site so please take a look at the Ace High Leathers Facebook page if you want to see what it looks like; http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ace-High-Leathers/164529240257266 Keep in mind that you can do close to the same thing with your Yamaha leather bib, just remember to clean the leather well before you stick it on and cut it with a pair of sharp scissors if need be. Thank you Dan S for the idea! Ride Safe, Nanci, Ace High Leathers
  10. Thanks for mentioning me Condor. Danaman, I'm, the one who does the leather work, Nanci Rogers and my site is http://www.acehighleathers.com I just started a thread stating that the site is temporarily down due to a BIG ugly oops on the host servers side. If you have any questions please email me directly or call me at 530-905-0505. Keep your fingers crossed that it will be up and running ASAP:fingers-crossed-emo regards Nanci
  11. Its a real bummer when a customer asks for your info because your website is no where to be found? Huh? WHAT????!!!!! For those of you who know me and my work please hang in there. I'm still in business and my number is 530-905-0505. My web guy is working fast and furious to figure what the heck happened. I picked up a thread of someone needing a tank bib and another who couldn't find the thread about my work. Well the site is http://www.acehighleathers.com believe me it is a real site! Hang in there with me and I'll make another post when I'm up and running again. In the meantime, anyone with a question can email me (nanci@shasta.com) or call me.
  12. Hey sling, I read your post on the mud flap and I can say "nope" its not too long. That's a great observation though and one that I should take into consideration when they are ordered. That template was designed by a guy who generally rides two up on his RSV and pulls a trailer. No complaints from him to date and if you would want the flap a bit shorter, its certainly not a problem. Ride Safe, Nanci http://www.acehighleathers.com
  13. Yep you're right Mike, the bike has since moved to Salt Lake City Utah and is still on the road with many more miles on it. Bob, the guy who bought it took on my website as a hobby, 6 years later, we're still friends and he still has the bike! The diamond cut is unlike anything I've ever seen and Mike's work was impeccable! Many thanks to you guys out there for giving my business a boost! I appreciate all of your kind words, friendship and needless to say it's a blast designing exactly what you want for your bikes. By the way Mike, I still owe you on that diamond cut shoot me an email and we'll talk. Regards, Nanci Ace High Leathers.
