  1. What I understand about a Facebook "fan" page is this; the more people who take a look and "like" the whole page, not just a photo, the more exposure you get on the internet because Facebook is linked to Google the world's largest search engine. I believe I got that right. If not let me know! My page is very low on "likes" so I'm asking a favor of the thousands of you folks who visit this site; please take a moment and "like" my Ace High Leathers fan page. I sure would appreciate it! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ace-High-Leathers/164529240257266 I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks!
  2. Many thanks to those customers who, over the years, have come to me via this and other forums. Venture, Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe customers comprise more than 60% of my home based business....so where would I be without you folks? Blessings to all of you, for a peaceful and adventurous 2014!
  3. Keep 'er rollin Annie! Blessings to you from the not so warm state of California! Nanci Rogers
  4. Ever wanted a pair of chaps made in the US with US tanned leather? http://www.touringhogs.com/images/smilies/confused.png Customers often ask me if leather is still tanned in the US. I knew it was, however I figured it would be expensive and possibly hard to find. What I did not know was that some of the leather that I use in my products is leather tanned "right here in River City U.S. of A! SAAALUTE". http://www.touringhogs.com/images/smilies/biggrin.png So here is the article I wrote about my visit to the Hide House in Napa California, the awesome people I work with and what I learned: http://www.acehighleathers.com/2013/10/i-went-to-leather-heaven-wow-leather-tanned-in-the-us/ http://www.touringhogs.com/images/smilies/redface.png
  5. About a month ago I came home for picking up some groceries. The bike must have been EXHAUSTED because just as I came to the garage, and while contemplating giving it a good washing it fell asleep RIGHT THEN AND THERE. The sucker was SO sound asleep and on a downhill incline AND on the gravel that I couldn't pick it up. What's a girl to do? So unload the groceries and waited for Ken to come home to help me "wake the bike up". :rotf:Oh and I know that "it didn't happen unless you have a photo" so here is the link below. http://www.acehighleathers.com/2013/09/every-now-and-then-we-all-have-a-real-oops/ http://www.acehighleathers.com/2013/09/every-now-and-then-we-all-have-a-real-oops/
  6. I am also looking into heated grips. I have heated gloves by Tourmaster which I don't like at all. I understand they may have corrected the main problem; the wires hurt my knuckles. (Maybe I just have boney fingers!) Over all, I don't like the gloves as they are also very bulky too, however I love the heated jacket liner! I don't leave home without it now. Thanks for bringing up this question! I'll be keeping an eye on this thread!
  7. Jonas, I can only say that you are a piece of cake to work with. The seats look WAY better on the bike than stacked up on my work bench! This man had his mind set and was patient to say the least. He pretty much told me that he knew that I could braid some lever fringe for him and he put up with my balking. (The only thing I had ever braided was my own hair back "in the day".) Sooooo,he bought me a book and said "there this should help you learn, I can tell by your work that you can do this". He was relentless. Needless to say I figured it out :stirthepot:and of course there you have it a new product! More on that later. Thank you Jonas for your patience and the rest of you guys of this for spreading the word around of my work. You guys are awesome!
