  1. Hey Caverrider! A good sweep is the spice of life (and an exceptional friend as well)! :clap2:Everyone who met you enjoyed your company. I will say that those you got a chance to be around you now know what the heck a "caver" is!
  2. He'll enjoy his "nip and tuck" eyelids! Zzysx will look like a new person with a whole new "outlook" on life! :rolleyes:Hey and by the way THANK YOU Zaysx for the surprise raffle prize; a RSV trunk light bar. Way cool!
  3. Holy Cow that was one long ride.:happy65:The confusion may have been a residual affect from the unexpected heat you experienced at the event. Still I'm glad you made it home. Nap time? Thank you for coming! See you next year!
  4. It looks rather "scawweeey" to me....however I can see Puc on it. Still it needs antlers or something
  5. Hey Jonas, if you don' reply to my last email which I sent weeks ago, neither of you will ever see the tank bibs you've been designing for the past several months. So stop the photo shoot and email me! !!!!!!
  6. Ok, here is the northern California difference between Eureka and Yreka! Eureka is on the coast and Y-reeeka (say the "Y" like the letter) is on I-5. AND Eureka was a far cooler place to be this past week!
  7. And if THAT wasn't enough some of us ALSO went back for more pie before noon on Saturday. It was kind of like have a drink before breakfast! Hey and get this you guys, we made the local paper....it pays to live in a small town that is always looking for something to publish. I wrote the article on Sunday, emailed the editor on Monday, BEGGED :crying:to please publish it for Wednesday or Thursday and badda boom badda bing, :clap2:there you have it! http://www.siskiyoudaily.com/article/20150624/NEWS/150629905/2010/LIFESTYLE
  8. Ya and they are amazingly easy to stand back up once it only falls over into the gas pump! LOL AND you guys know "the rest of the story"!
  9. Got the email and answered ya back! ;o)
  10. I have a set of Flanders bars for sale. We made an "oops" and ordered the set for the RSV not for our RSTD's. Love to find them a home. We couldn't return them as we drilled the hole for the reservoir. We each have a set of these bars, me because the bike wasn't made to fit me at 5'5" and for my husband because he didn't want to have to reach so far and wide, he's 5'11". Email me at nanci@shasta.com if you are interested.
  11. Holy Cow, you must think I'm one tuff "biker chick" to attempt that one by myself Rick. My finger got tired just moving across the map while starting in Montague, CA and hunting down Oberlin. Have a cold "whatever" on me and ya'll know I'll be there in spirit!
  12. Hey buddy, I put the raffle prize in the mail today via USPS. It's a good one this time. I couldn't convince the airlines to drop their prices down to what I call "reasonable" or you'd be seeing my mug on your front door! Enjoy!
  13. How did I know that you come up with SOMETHING to SOME story Puc? Have you ever thought about writing a book? You can name it "Road Kill"....I'd buy a copy for a buck!
  14. The trick is in the tweezers my friend.....make sure they are good quality or you will be there all day on a hunt and miss mission.
  15. Well, well, that's just fine and dandy for YOU my friend Puc, how about us gracefully aging girls that are suddenly checking for chin hairs every day armed with a set of tweezers? What's your solution to that? Go ahead, I double dare you.......
  16. Wawho! Tell her that I said "you go girl!" I also have the thought that i might out run the bike! LOL
  17. Ok, I know you guys have ALL kinds of stuff in your shops! My friend just started riding and she bought a VStar 1100. We're trying to hunt down some lower windshield deflectors, engine guards and a solo fender rack. I know someone out there has something like that in their garage! If so lemmeknow!
  18. How about a little salt in the wound? So our ski areas were open for a total of about 2 weeks....for the second year. We're in a severe drought with no rain in sight HOWEVER why waste all this unseasonably warm whether here in Northern Cal? With another day of mid 60's I'm going riding again tomorrow and I'll be thinking of all my poor frozen Venture buddies....!
  19. I had the thought that the Mt. Shasta, CA would be a good area. It's basically in my backyard so to speak. I can look into accommodations. There is a couple of camping areas, one by the lake which has fishing, hiking, paddle boats and more. Lone Eagle seemed interested (someone prod him please). I would be willing to do my share, however with two businesses, I do not have time to handle the pre-registration, patches etc. If some folks are willing to team up with me, I'll get stuff ready in the way of campsites and hotel rooms for all you rowdies coming from every which way. Here is the site to where I live: www.visitsiskiyou.org and here is the link to the lake I mentioned: Lake Siskiyou | Beach & Camp If you are looking for traffic, then it might not be the place for you to ride. We get bored and ride down the middle of the road going in and out of the yellow line.....for something to do!
  20. Yep, I got that! Sometimes we must shift gears and move on! Thanks for the reply!
  21. Guess it's time for me to wake up to the conversations on this forum. I've been "asleep" for a while! LOL So first off thank you for the kind words! I had a great time at The Dalles. My question is this: does anyone have a clue as to where Venture West will be this year? Someone needs to prod Lone Eagle for an answer. Ya think?
  22. Nope, no problem here, however I do get confused sometimes navigating around the site....but hey that is too far from my hear to kill me!
  23. I'm just glad to know that you are in the mends Mike and hey Puc, aren't you just suggesting a first Gen so that you can put some stickers on it for him? Mike, never mind that Puc, :backinmyday:I'll see what I find in my area...a second Gen correct?
  24. Cap'n! I'm afrrrraid she canno take much mooorrrre.
  25. INSTALLING HUSBAND‏ A woman writes to the IT Technical support Guy. Dear Tech Support, Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and I noticed a distinct slowdown in the overall system performance, particularly in the Flower and Jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NEWS 5.0, MONEY 3.0 and SOCCER 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and House cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do? Signed, _____ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _ Reply DEAR Madam, First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme. html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Silence 2.5 or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta. Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.) In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend: Cooking 3.0 and Hot Looks 7.7. Good Luck Madam! IT SUPPORT DESK :rotf::rotf:
