  1. I have looked at both the Buckeye HO stator & regulator/rectifier and the offering from Ricks Motorsport Electrics. Buckeye comes in at just under $500 for both and Ricks Motorsports is $159 for the stator plus about $150 for a Shindengen FH020AA The Super Mosfet Kit from This seller . SO, my question is , is the offering from Buckeye worth the extra $200 ? From what I can tell, the only difference is the R/R from Buckeye is a hard wire unit where the Shindengen is a plug type unit. AND do I/ should I use the super mosfet kit that runs power from the battery direct?
  2. Them four legged creatures have a way of surprising you when you least expect it. Sorry to hear of the injuries to body, bike and ego. Nothing a little time and $$ won't heal. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  3. Have you been watching over my shoulder?! The only thing I might add is that you forgot the super glue to hold the plug halves together when reassembling. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  5. Whats the best way to clean all the molex plug connections? most are too small for sandpaper, file or wire brush. Also, whats the easiest way to get the connectors out of the plug body?
  6. I'll be doing that job very soon, my stator died while at the International Rally IN WEST VIRGINIA . Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  7. Like Larry said , Slowrollwv did show us a great time. This may not have been the best attended IR but those that did come were treated to some fantastic roads and scenery. It was nice to finally put some faces on members we had not yet crossed paths with before. Our host & hostess deserve a big round of applause 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Kudos to Bongobob for squeezing all that $$$ out of our pockets for St. JUDES ! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  17. Better check your electrical system to be sure you have enough extra watts to power the amp without draining your battery. I put the polks on my bike with the same results, not worth the $$ spent.
  18. I have looked at those, the biggest problem with it is the deck is not wide enough to put a 2nd gen on crossways the deck is to narrow, harleys are a shorter bike.
  19. That's ok young man we'll leave the light on
  20. Just buy it under the Venture Rider.org corporate umbrella. It's all a write off as VRO world headquarters. Also claim it as a 501-C3 , tell them it's a free retirement facility for old bikers 😉 Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  21. Snyper, You are correct,, that Squid is a great guy that is always willing to jump in and help another rider. FYI, I run 55W passing lamps, extra lights in the back. During cold weather I have a heated jacket, pants and gloves, never have I had my battery go dead on me, but, when its cold enough for all that gear the bike gets plugged in every night and I have a 60 watt light bulb under the oil pan that keeps the oil fairly warm at night for easier starts in the morning.
  22. Free food... the only thing that would draw more of them is if the beer was free too !
  23. PIP is one I've been trying to make for years! Maybe next time . Hoping my buddy @cowpuc will be up to speed next year and we'll do this run together.
