1. Jak, ya gatta try the search engine bro.. lots about speakers and other good stuff I use Polk and the other is pioneer. other then that.... WELCOME. not sure if being a trial memeber lets you search or not. but I can say one thing. this will be the best 12 bucks you ever spent. good luck, Jeff
2. a differant format?
3. I also want to give a special thanks to Larry (Carbon-One) he has been a tremendous help to me over the past couple months and even tolerated me. he is a wealth of knowledge and a great guy he will go out of his way to help anybody. Thanks Larry, Jeff
4. Jeff you would make a great sponcer for me in the help group
5. Fuzzy, I just ran them to an on/off switch and then to a power source they do not take much voltage at all. they are fun and like you say there cool. I just have a strip under each lip under the tank and they shine down onto the engine, the strips are about 12 inches long. YOU CAN DO IT!!
6. BOO, that is why I am here, the best support group on earth is right here
7. Fuzzy, Oh no I am no expert, the other guys are, they just showed me how to do it . As far as my LED's under my tank to shine on the engine I do not use relays for those they do not draw that much power or there is no need for one. DO IT !!!
8. I wonder if I really could do just one more? then I would stop for sure I bet.
9. YOU GUYS!!!! we can over come this, I know we can !!!
10. Dan, I know it is very hard but once you start there is no stopping it. JUST SAY NO !!! I know we can all get through this together, this is a great group here.
11. Jeff , I had thought of that but on a couple relays I had to jump from one to the other. are you trying to get me hooked agian? I might go that route next winter on the relays that don't have two wires going to one post. Thanks for the support !!
12. DON'T DO IT.... STEP AWAY FROM THAT RELAY !!!!!!
13. Well I think it is time to come out and confess that I am addicted to relays. It all started about 6 years ago when I added just one relay to my light bar, and then Carbon_One said to try just one more a couple years after that, at first I said NO way. and then I broke down and added the 2nd one. Then after that like two years ago Midlife , Dingy and Carbon_One told me to do two relays at once. then I knew I was hooked. This was one of the threads http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=45750&highlight=Cougar The past couple of days Carbon_One has been helping me try this and that with a couple relays and the rest was history. he really knows his stuff and can get you really hooked. so just be careful of him if you should need any kind of help. he will just get you more addicted. JUST SAY NO! I now have to confess that I was telling folks that I now have 6 Relays under the front fairing but I lied and did not say anything about the 2 others that I have as well. one is under the seat for the aux tank and the other is under the right side cover for the horn relay. I felt to guilty to even post pictures of them. here are the one's under the fairing and will make a plate next winter to hang them from. I really feel better now that I have this off my chest. and will be getting some sort of help in the near future for this problem. I know it will be a long road ahead of me but with the help of this group I know I can do it. There is now a total of (EIGHT) personal relays on my Bike. not even counting to OEM one's thanks for listening. Jeff
14. Thanks Jay, I do know I have a Vin number for the trike on paper work someplace at lest that is what they used to do. will try and check today. maybe back then they didn't use plates I guess
15. Forgot one thing I also will bet that your 07 was Triked in 09 Jeff
16. Don, make sure you send those photos. Jim is a REAL busy guy and he may not get back to you a few days of so. (sometimes a week) I would go ahead and ride. mine were worse then that before it got figured out. looks like you still even have plenty of pad left. as you know that won't ware out Just let me know when I can help you out. come to think of it I don't think I have ever seen my trike Vin number yet LOL It is wrote down someplace but I have no clue, I know the BANK and Ins. has it:D Bottom Line here.. is my bet is the Hannigan WILL take care of you. the pictures are proof HE needs those more then a VIN number. Jeff
17. They all seem to be on the eastern side of the US,,, So sad. I think there is one about 300 miles from me
18. Jays trike is slower now with all that extra weight na na boo boo can't sleep waiting for all the tornados to pass by
19. :Dyeah, might be $45.00 tomorrow They would make very nice boat anchors tho:scratchchin:
20. The EBC number is correct. (soft pads) it is the number that Jim gave me. His rotors should be changed out no matter what and hannigan should make it good for him. it would be the first if they do not.
21. Mine is a 2000 and I have never had a problem with my switch. however I keep a spare in my trunk and the bolts to my switch have been changed if I ever have to change it out on the road one day. have relays on all my lights so the switch won't have to handle all that power as well.
22. I have never seen a Northern Tool Retail Store in my life any place. must be a top secrect thing I guess
23. Great price the best I could do was $34.95 each:rolleyes: but ya know it is way better then $99 each at the bike shops.
24. Yes-PERFECT even with my little chrome visor on them as well
