  1. Include me please. I'm in Pell City (20 minutes from Woody) but visit relatives & friends in Huntsville.
  2. I get notifications & watch her channel as soon as new videos come out because she has such a positive can do attitude. She laughs at adversity and that's the opposite of the rest of the BS I'm fed daily. Started watching her when she was escaping S. America during lockdown and have gone back and watched her from the beginning in India. Great stuff.
  3. In the year 2525 Individuals driving projectiles toward each other on an imperfect surface will be a thing of the past. If said individuals have been authorized to relocate to another area they will be transported by automated underground mass transit. The ozone has been depleted to such a dangerous level it is unsafe to be on the surface without protective suits, so most individuals never see the light of day. [video=youtube_share;izQB2-Kmiic]
  4. KOA unavailable? Just signed papers today & about to go over the edge. On impulse I'm considering buying a running bike, a tent & coming up from Alabama. Looked at the KOA website & it looks full. Any suggestions?
  5. Laughed so hard I thought I was gonna throw up!
  6. Pardon me and I apologize. For being AWOL lately and not knowing if this has already been discussed, and for passing on stupid gossip from YouTube comments section BUT... In the comments V-Twin Lover says,"Sadly, numerous actual Owners of the 2018 SVTC/Eluder models have been pressing Yamaha concerning the question of why no 2019 models being offered (out of obvious concern). Yamaha has officially responded to those inquiries with letters stating that due to poor sales, no 2019's will be made and the future beyond 19 of the models will remain questionable based on whether or not the left over inventory of 2018's sell during the 2019 riding season. They have also been told that even if the model does go back to production it will be strictly done by a new "Yamaha Pre-Order System" and no bikes will be shipped to fill dealership floor space." That was just too juicy for me to pass on! I guess my feminine side is flaming right now😬 Is this typical net graffiti or news? (To me anyway)
  7. You’re running to rich! Down here in the middle of Alabama and about an hour of flurries this morning! You trying to kill us?
  8. Even Nick Saban looses a game occasionally. It’s always a “learning experience”. You are right though. The higher up the ladder you go the more eyes see you. Armchair quarterbacks are a dime a dozen. This world needs conscientious, responsible, hard working leaders in a bad way. It irks me that today’s concept of a hero is often the villain and the old fashioned hero is slaughtered for entertainment. That concept can’t produce anything positive! You’ve taken a stand and been rewarded. Have confidence in your ability and know that your lifeblood isn’t tied to any one company. You have friends in the field that appreciate your talent regardless who signs your pay check. Congrats. You’re doing something right!
  9. Did you throw in a years subscription or would that be to painful to see? You just haven’t added enough bling yet to get that “MY blanket” feeling!
  10. Since you mentioned it.... The last time I left Pensacola Museum I did a leisurely drive through the base. Didn’t know where I was going and was just enjoying new scenery. I came to a T intersection. Kind of strange but typical of military bases. The 2 lane road I was on had a stop sign and I could turn left or right on a wide concrete endless parking lot. There appeared to be a windowless multi story building staring me in the face across the parking lot. As I sat at the stop sign contemplating which way to go or turn around I realized there was a gap between the building and the parking lot. My eyes then followed the gap skyward. Up, up, up until I realized I was on a dock with an aircraft carrier in my face! It was a jack in the beanstalk moment I’ll never forget and thanks to the element of surprise had more impact than seeing the Grand Canyon. So glad for that experience. She now sits at the bottom of the sea and I don’t scuba. http://www.pnj.com/story/news/local/2016/04/24/10-years-later-orkisany-reef-international-dive-destination/82957574/
  11. I’m just a spectator but since this is a brand new design wouldn’t it be prudent to stick with Yamalube for a year? I’d rather have that disclaimer dismissed in the event of problems.
  12. Sis n law suggests Tacky Jacks - Gulf Shores ACME - GS Cottons - Orange Beach Fin & Fork - OB
  13. As long as you’re not putting on a helmet and trying to ride it on the street I wouldn’t be too concerned. The fact that you persevered and successfully completed the task says you ain’t lost it yet!
  14. Understatement. Both times I’ve been everyone is dragging me out whining, “We want a vacation too!” If you’re really in to aviation there’s a smaller museum in Ft Walton with a SR71 Blackbird and a B52. Never been in LuLus cause it’s usually crowded but since schools started maybe not as bad. Sent a text to my bro n law who practically lives there. Will pass along his advice if any.
  15. Sheesh Dawson. Can’t the guy have a honeymoon first? !!!!!
  16. When you were doing your Evel Kenevil impersonation with a chick on the back were you blasting this on the cassette?
  17. https://youtu.be/sEk6Kha1lB8All common sense yet.... #4 brought back memories of the day I bought my 83. More power than anything I’d owned before. Worse brakes like trying to stop a runaway dump truck!

  19. I think they made this trike specifically for Puc when he gets too old for two wheels! Notice the tester briefly mentions “off road “ and rides “Puc Style”. (Wheelies/drifting etc) And they introduced it now soo... let’s see Puc... How young will you be in 10 years when it’s depreciated to your sweet spot?
  20. I'm confused. It was easy to understand 1st gen vs 2nd gen. But now I gotta process 1 2 and 3? I'm glad to see the new blood come in. Keeps the camp from becoming a nursing home! On the other hand just like when a new preacher comes in to a church and recruits a bunch of new members there's the "We don't do it that way here" feeling and I do hope the LOVE that has existed through all these years between 1st & 2nd geners will continue into all the future generations. They're coming in midstream here and aren't aware of the tongue n check "war" we amuse ourselves with. Heck we've watched and anticipated this baby long before it was in the womb. All you new folks with the 2018 baby, please just understand we (and Puc) just want to hold the baby... then tell you ...... But we do have one ironclad rule on this forum.... Only in this case it's video preferably at the drag strip! We understand you didn't buy this bike for that purpose but eventually someone will do it. I've seen suburbans and vans at the strip. Who will be the first?
  21. Because that's the kind of stuff I did for 31 years and now I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do when I grow up! Coroplast signs are so YESTERDAY! 3D is the FUTURE and I want to follow that path!
  22. Another twist to the plot. My wife wanted to b'day gift her 80yr old dad with a motorized trike (3 wheeled bicycle) to do a Family ride on a rails to trails here in Alabama. Our son was going to do the motor conversation on a trike she ordered from Wal-Mart. Supposedly the trike arrived at our local store. Went to pickup but it wasn't during daytime business hours and internet orders are only processed during daytime hours. Called the next day and they knew nothing about it. "Must have been lost between Atlanta and Alabama" Reordered. Can't remember the details but that one never showed up either. We suspect Wal-Mart employees sold 2 trikes on the black market. Either way we weren't out any $. The opportunity to make a memory passed. We order nothing from Wal-Mart online anymore EVER! As an aside, I worked for my father n law 31 years in a highly respected business. As a courtesy I wrote repeat customers CC info down in their file because most just wanted their stuff expedited ASAP. I realized years ago the risk of any transaction involving a card. A disgruntled employee? I'm no longer there but any employee has access to those files. It's a solid company with high quality workers BUT .... GUMMENT? Yeah. Let's vote for change! See the nickels dimes quarters AND gazillion dollars fly from our pockets to oblivion! Now YOU got ME started!
