AND TRY TO WIPE THE SMILE FROM MY FACE!!!!!! I just wrapped up installing my Mustang Seat w/DBR and Khrome Werks pipes!!!! MAN DO THEM PIPES SOUND GREAT!!! I will load pictures tomorrow evening.

I purchased a chrome bracket from Ace for my install. I am terrible at fabricating.... SilvrT did a good job on his, and is more out of the way! Here is how I did mine. -

I used this one "http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/2137/ 11185-Chrome". I am curious if I can fit another one where the other stock horn is located. I haven't had the plastic cover off, but it doesn't look promising... -

I mounted mine on the right side in place of the stock horn. You will have to use 90 deg connectors but it fits well there. Sorry for the bad news.... -

I thought I would pass this along to you. I met a guy with a RSV on a toy run this year, that mounted his Stebel air horn right where you described. When he hit one of our famous Oklahoma pot holes he drove this horn in to the to of his fender. It stamped a perfect imprint of the bottom of the horn.I wouldn't want to read a post from you stating the same thing... Just looking out for ya!!! You will be glad you put it on though, its an attention getter!! -
The worst part about it is; its the two big items I have been wanting for a while.... Mustang seat and Khrome Werks slip ons... I know ..... It doesn't help that its cold and raining. I need something to get my mind off of it!

Nothing worse than having to wait though the weekend knowing you have accessories being delivered on Monday!! Why couldn't they have shown up on Friday .....

My 07 slips periodically as well. It is only happens when I really get on it, or when I have a passenger. I guess the additional weight makes a difference. I purchased mine new and only use Yamaha oil. I will be replacing my spring soon. The spring you are getting from PCW Racing, is it a Barnett?

2004 Volkswagen Jetta TDI 141,500 miles 42 mpg, as good as 48 mpg. I even got 42 mpg doing 80-110 from Indianapolis to St Louis... Would recommend if you are mechanically inclined or have a TDI guru near you. Great car, just expensive to maintenance if you have to pay someone else to do it.

I am coming up on my 26,000 mile service and would really like to do this myself and save some cash... I have a friend that is in law school and was able to send me this... Interpretations of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act 15 U.S.C. 2301 § 700.10 Section 102©. (a) Section 102© prohibits tying arrangements that condition coverage under a written warranty on the consumer's use of an article or service identified by brand, trade, or corporate name unless that article or service is provided without charge to the consumer. (b) Under a limited warranty that provides only for replacement of defective parts and no portion of labor charges, section 102© prohibits a condition that the consumer use only service (labor) identified by the warrantor to install the replacement parts. A warrantor or his designated representative may not provide parts under the warranty in a manner which impedes or precludes the choice by the consumer of the person or business to perform necessary labor to install such parts. © No warrantor may condition the continued validity of a warranty on the use of only authorized repair service and/or authorized replacement parts for non-warranty service and maintenance. For example, provisions such as, "This warranty is void if service is performed by anyone other than an authorized 'ABC' dealer and all replacement parts must be genuine 'ABC' parts," and the like, are prohibited where the service or parts are not covered by the warranty. These provisions violate the Act in two ways. First, they violate the section 102 © ban against tying arrangements. Second, such provisions are deceptive under section 110 of the Act, because a warrantor cannot, as a matter of law, avoid liability under a written warranty where a defect is unrelated to the use by a consumer of "unauthorized" articles or service. This does not preclude a warrantor from expressly excluding liability for defects or damage caused by such "unauthorized" articles or service; nor does it preclude the warrantor from denying liability where the warrantor can demonstrate that the defect or damage was so caused. -

My brother was rear ended on his RSTD, w/out a helmet.... He was very blessed to be alive. Now I can say I wear mine 100% of the time. On a good note he is 100% again and just purchased a new 08 RSTD!!! Oh and he wears one 100% of the time too!!!
