  3. sad to say my mom sure was but she left us at an early age she died of bone cancer at the age of 60. sure miss her. she loved to go for rides too on motorcycles as well as my snowmobiles. and the kid is now 34 LOL
  4. my first street bike was a 1971 Honda sl175 blue and white. but since I had that flood back a few years ago I lost a lot of pictures of all of my bikes

  6. dang it knock that stuff off. looks like we might have to haul you around on a trailer. instead of you hauling the bike on one LOL get better and heal up.
  7. hey I found out armor all on a motorcycle seat kind of makes the bike want to leave with out you...
  8. well I had the spinal tap done at 7:30 today so they could check out the reason I am having such bad back problems. and to see if my MS has spread any more? there trying to wean me off the morphine. going to place me on something called Norco? then start with spinal injections in 2 weeks? I have done the hanging upside down stuff. PT ice packs. trying to drop the weight every thing I can think off. I went back to the solo seat with back rest on the Honda and I can ride. just wont go out when I am doped up on the morphine I have my good days ... boy when I have my bad ones and I have more of them lately then good one. after they did a MRI turns out I must have done something way back to my back? some people know that the vertebrae has what looks like little wings on the end of each one? well come to find out 3 of mine have them wing type things missing?. now back in 1994 I was in a bad car crash I had a little chevy sprint. a big 4x4 truck hit me in the drivers front. and I was ejected through the wind shield. the seat belt. broke off it,s mounting bolt? they where more concerned at that time with the head injury then checking out my back. and seeing as I healed up in over a year. I did not notice my back problems. not sure what the doctors are going to do about this yet? maybe a fusion might be the answer? we shall see how this all turns out?
  9. nice!!! did you buy some lotto tickets by chance too?
  10. sorry to hear this my prayers go out to you and your sister
  11. don't forget to check out the diamond cut guy? AKA EUSA1 his work is awesome. I know shameless plug but he really does make them bikes look good
  12. I have the 2000 Honda shadow ACE 750 bought it off a member here leadwolf56 or should I say his wife Sue? after a total knee operation and back problems I had to sell my 1984 venture. I just want to say the 750 has taken me places that I enjoy. I have had her out on the interstate and she holds out darn well. I have not tried a state to state run on her. I have to admit I am just a little scared to be out there with all that traffic. she is not a heavy bike. runs out well at 80mph if need be can do a little more. like any v twin well most any way she does vibrate the mirrors a little and that can drive you kind of crazy. if I was to go to a bigger bike for myself. I would have to say I would go to the Honda shadow 1100.
  13. looks nice should we call you green lantern now? or green arrow?

    Hey Puc

hang in there hope all turns out well. will offer up a prayer before I turn in for you.
  16. glad you got some time back in the saddle sometimes a crash like you had can make a fellow kind of nervous get that front tire done. don't need you to go down again. as for the Honda shadow your buddy has. I just love mine. it is not a speed demon. but she can get up and scoot if she wants too. but most of the time she just loves to do 65 MPH on some nice country back roads. enjoying the sites. and putting a smile on an old goats face.
  17. I think that is where the lightning goes after all them first gens go like greased lightning
  18. them are not grease zerks. they are air valves you put air in there for the air brakes
  19. there might be a lasalle in Indiana not sure. there are a lot of bikes gong up for sale in this area. but the prices are way beyond what I would pay and some people have not come off there winter price. some want more during the winter here then the spring time. I once went to look at a bike the owner said the brakes are good they sure where I could not move the bike. stuck solid. turns over easy sure did no compression. LOL
