well looks like some one is giving you good advice. (the daughter) keep on the doctors if something works tell them. if something don't bi##h up a storm. looks like they got you going a little better. just like an old dirt bike might take more then one kick to get you up and running?. the heart might just be a little low on compression might need a valve job? I pray you don't. shaving the face made you look shinny and new LOL. them meds might be like a new spark plug got you fired up some. the ride on that Honda gave you some fuel to get out and give tweeks a run just to show you she still cares LOL any way this is some good news many more prayers offered up for you.

I come here to check up on things. I don't own a Yamaha venture or even a Yamaha. but I do know if I need help with the Honda shadow. that people here have a vast knowledge of bikes in general there advice is very usefull. even if it is a joke like hey so it wont start did you check the gas? the kill switch ect ect. and believe me that yes it can be just that simple. then there are those who will walk you through it. or offer to help if you can get it to them. or if they have time to stop and do it. there are some who wont do it for you but will direct you while you do it by standing there and watching. and if you goof they will jump in and say here let me show you just this once. I also come here to check up on the health of members as yes I do care. like I say we maybe all be nuts but together we make one power full oak tree LOL

yes he has some beagle in him dad is a full beagle. mom was just a mutt someone dropped off on the farmers land. he felt he just had to keep her after his dog got her pregnant . LOL he should be no ore then 15 pounds. so I would say a middle size dog? tonight he is at a vet center for a check up and will spend the night there. as he had his first shots. and was feeling a little woozy . just a precaution. as his father has all his shots and is up to date but mom where not sure of? but mom will be given all her shots as well. as she is also up there with her 2 children. that was all she had a daughter and this fellow.

I went tout to get some farm fresh eggs from the farmer whom I almost hit on his tractor with my motorcycle. and this little fellow came up to me. the farmer said he is 10 weeks old and needs a home. I had a dog that lived 19 years and passed away 9 years a go. thought hey maybe it is time to give that kind of love to a new one? so let me introduce you to gunner. my daughter gave him that name. said if he learns to ride with you Dad he will be your tail gunner LOL here is to many good times. chewed up shoes. little messes and accidents till he learns I am the BOSS!!! LOL.

just thought I would drive you up there bud but understand what your saying. and heck yeah I would be happy to stop by and learn from you if he can get the bike to you. I was just willing to take you up there as this site and people here have helped me so much I thought I could pay it forward. no cost to you for gas or nothing to take you up there. and who knows maybe a rootbeer? LOL

prairriehammer how far are you away from lasalle? if you wanted to I would be happy to pick you up and go up there to Princeton. and give you what little help I can on you setting his carbs for him. I don't have the tool or recall how to sync any more so I could just supervise LOL but on the condition he joins us for that low but good help cost of $12 to joing up with us.

a hundred bucks keeps the tank full for more places to see. but I was like come on just a few minutes of my time to snap a few quick pictures being on it and then vroom I will be gone. nope no way she was firm on her words. even had her damn ticket book in her hand. just waiting to see if I would try it when she turned around and went the other way. I thought it is a tourist attraction. what better way to show it off then by taking a picture of me and the bike on it? now I am sure I am not the only one who wanted to do it? and I am sure some have pulled it off? but this oldgoat though better then try it.

Red Covered Bridge near Princeton? Why is there a DNR officer stationed there? Don't they have better things to do than harass photographers yes prairiehammer nice place and a nice park just down the road. have no idea why she was there? there was some kids down by the river part looks like they where fishing? they left after she pulled up and told me not to dare park on that bridge. might be my long hair and bad looks LOL

Dan that woman DNR officer looked like she could bench press me? and I weigh 250 LOL plus she carried a nice looking glock pistol. as for shemale well it might have been but I am not going there LOL

she was not buying the statement I was looking for a good fishing spot. there is a nice park just past that bridge. it is being cleaned up now. so when it reopens I will go back there.

missed doing this for the scavenger hunt post but boy was it a nice day. tried to park on the bridge but a female DNR officer said if I try it while she was there she would give me a $100 ticket I tried to charm her but at last oldgoat has lost that charm LOL

DNR officer pulled up and had a hissy fit if I tried it while she was there she was going to give me a $100 ticket. I tried but guess I lost my old ways of trying to charm a woman LOL

my prayer to you. lots of wisdom in your words. I am only 56 years old and know what health problems can bring. that is why I am thank full for my daughter helping me get back to the love of being on a motorcycle again. yes she bought stella for me. now I am out there as much as the good lord will allow me. an I too am thank full for my times with family and friends and doing the things I loved at a young age. and trying my darnest to continue that. you get well as I have never met you but look forward to it some day. oh almost for got. it was a dumb move on my part going that fast with out knowing what might be up that hill. and I have been down that road many times on the bike and in the jeep. total brain fart!!! still kind of shaken up about it. have to get back in the saddle sunday as where going to have rain tomorrow. the thing is there would have been now way to avoid him if I was going faster other then taking the ditch or heading for the field. either way would not have been good.

went out today for a short ride around 75 miles out in to the country I was just going along looks at the country side. kind of not paying attention. when I came up over the top of a hill doing about 60 MPH when holly crap there was a tractor coming off the field. no flashers just came out made a left turn off the field and stopped right there. he was putting up the plow disks I must have stopped maybe 5 feet from hitting that left side plow disk I drove home doing maybe 30 MPH shaking like a leaf parked the bike said a prayer and was thankfull I did not hit that tractor. that guardian bell sure worked for me today. thank you Don for replaceing that when I was flooded out. looks like a couple extra dollars in the collection plate this sunday at church. so every one be carefull out there. them farmers are out there doing there jobs. but some might be getting tired and just not paying attention when they come off that field. he did come down off the tractor and said he was very sorry. as he did not know his flashers where out told me next time I come by to stop in for some free farm fresh eggs. im not angry at him he was just doing his work and I was day dreaming as well. it could have been bad. but someone was watching over me today.
