  1. Linda I think I'll open a bottle of wine tonight and have a toast to your fast recovery and good health. of course having all five grandkids with me today will be no reason to need a drink. listen to the doctors and get well so we can visit someday.
  2. just got a text from Randy, he said Linda is doing well and had two bypasses
  3. Randy, Trina wanted to be there but we just can't swing it. but we will be thinking of y'all.
  4. the tire shop mechanic stopped putting air in and said he was not putting more air in it. so we were talking about what to do such as more soap, clean rim, something like that and then the owner of the shop came over and said to let him try so the mechanic and I backed up and the shop owner blew the sidewall out. we did come to an agreement I paid him his cost for a M/C tire and was on my way. Never tried it again.
  5. I too buy tickets for prizes I don't need and sometimes I make donations with nothing expected in return, but I do like to play the game with other like minded people and if I win a can of something I can use thats good if not I spent time with friends and cheered for the ones that did win. so I vote for the 50/50 drawing for the main prize and since I never win I hope there are a lot of smaller prizes too. let the games begin
  6. I tried a Nexen on my Venture one time and the motorcycle shop doing the install blew the side wall out of it trying to get it to seat, man that was loud and then the discussion on who was going to pay for the tire got a little loud.

  14. Finally got a chance to report my ordeal with Harley, I got a call last Tuesday that my CB radio and safety chrome I ordered was there so we made an appointment for Friday morning I was to be there by 0900. I worked off night shift Friday morning went home got the trike and was at Harley by 0845. They carried my trike to the back at 0900 and I did not hear anything until 1200 the shop manager came up to me and said I am sorry but we do not have all the parts to install your radio and explained it was not his fault it was mother Harley and me being the understanding person that I am, said ok what about my other accessories and he said we are going to start on them now. WHAT!!! It took you three (yes I said 3) hours to figure out that all the parts were not there on a radio that was supposed to be more or less a plug and play type deal and one of the parts missing was the antenna. Can you say DUH. Well they gave me plenty of time to cool off cause it was after 3 o’clock before the manager came out and says your bike is on the wash rack it will be out shortly. Then at 1610 hrs there comes my trike fresh off the wash rack with something brown on the exhaust pipe and the wrong trunk rack on it. I told the young man as politely as a sailor would, that is the wrong trunk rack. he says I am just a wash boy I do not do mechanic work I just wash the bikes then the old staff sergeant came out in me and I pointed out the brown substance on my new bike. This boy looks at me and says would you like for me to go get something and clean that off, I almost had a stoke! The other guy in there said I hurt the boys feelings. The shop manager says they are going to correct everything and make it right I plan on giving them every opportunity until they do. Man I feel better thanks yall.

  20. Just my opinion look at B2 mom & dad's you could buy it get a well taken care of bike with all the goodies, newer bike and then if you like it sell yours and recoup some of your money.
  21. that looks like alot of fun and those pics are beautiful I can't let Trina see them or I know where I'll be going.
  22. Thanks Yammer, I never rode one either and on the way home I told Trina I was not happy. now that I have about 125 miles on it I am likeing it alot more. someday I will tell you about the lady at the CVS, and the one at the service station it appears the ladies like them. shhh don't tell you know who. cowpuc is correct, and why does Harley call a belt a chain Thanks Carbon one, it sure is hard to stay under 3000 rpms but I am tring. it is purrrrdy, and Trina loves it so I might as well like it don't think I have much choice. I think it will fit in the trailer I may have to put my drinks in the truck to make room
  23. I been thinking about replacing my trailer tire valve stems for the same reason. need to use metal ones.
