  1. Becky and I have a wedding in FL to attend on the 6th. We have every intention of taking a slight detour on the way home and stopping in!!!
  2. Yes, as Brown Angel mentioned, every time we drink Pecan coffee we will think kindly of Don!! The only blessing in this is that we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Don is home in heaven right this minute and forever! Without that reassurance this would be even harder to take...
  3. See you on the 4th!!! Looking forward to seeing you!!! Tom and I are confused though. You are flying out on the 5th, right?? Where from?? There is still 19 cases of hardwood in the guest room but I'm starting the floor hopefully next week. Tom and Taters have to work on the 5th...
  4. Yup! Just another day on venturerider.org!! Kudos Mike!!!
  5. Very sad indeed!! Gunboat was a class act, and I was honored to meet him! At least he went peacefully and is now in the arms of Jesus!
  6. Happy Anniversary Brad and Lonna! You two make the perfect couple, love you both!
  7. Yup! Gorilla glue!! Holds better than duct tape and duct tape holds the world together...
  8. Uhhh, Tom, lay off more than the ice cream!! How's that for a second opinion???
  9. He just wanted to say hi...
  10. You're better off just replacing the slave rather than rebuilding. If you insist on rebuilding then make sure you hone the body, and when it starts leaking again don't say we didn't tery to tell you...
  11. Yup! It's MK1 where the CB goes if you have a CB or if you don't have a CB that covers where the controller goes. Bet that's clear as mud... It goes above the CLASS controller.
  12. Unfortunately the best way is to remove the fairings, then the battery box and then remove the coil rack to get to the TCI...
  13. Terriffic!!! Your brake drums are here waiting for you!
  14. Happy Anniversary!!!
  15. I did the same with an E-3 and I'm on my second year and still plenty of tread left...
  16. HAPPY BIRTHDAY David!!!
  17. So THAT'S why sometimes I get identical PM's from people...
  18. No can do...
  19. Yup, got it!!
  20. Hmmmm, I seem to have misplaced mine!!! Guess I'll order another!
  21. Yup! That's pretty much it. The clutches can go, but there is a HD version clutch available from Yamaha as well as some aftermarket stuff to make it stronger and better. BTW Pioneer has a 2004(?) white RSV they just took in on trade last Friday...
  22. Well, there is actually a very minute difference in the response curve for the '84 and '85, the difference being the 1200 vs the 1300 but prarie hammer is correct, they are interchangeable with virtually no noticeable difference. Thanks for refreshing my memory about the '83 number, it's been a few years, like since '09 since I messed with that stuff! The '90 up is single contact ignition so it's a different animal. You should find the 10's were the 1200 and the 11's were the 1300...
  23. OK I went into the garage and that's what it's for, the radio controller, the wire colors match up...
  24. Yes, that makes sense, red is ignition, brown is accessory...
  25. California Emissions module??? Yes, it could be for the intercom/CB controller box! I'm thinking the yellow wire is the one you ground for transmit. Yellow is also brake so you could stick a voltmeter on it and see if 12 volts is there only when the brakes are on. I have one of those modules so later today I'll look at it and see if the colors match up...
