  1. Thanks for the info so far. Being in NY I have the NY EZ-Pass and honestly i have had a bunch of trouble with it. It could just be that i have a defective one, but at times it hadn't even worked while holding it in my hand going through. I thought that if I put it in the front of the bike in the front fairing it would be the first to cross the line and it would be out of the way and not visible. Any pics would be great that anyone has..
  2. First I would like to thank everyone for all the help on the few posts I have made. It is really great to have such a wealth of knowledge here.. So Thank you.. Now that I have sucked up a little, has anyone ever mounted an EZ-Pass in the front fairing? If so, did it work? I would like to hide it in the fairing so it is not visible. I look forward to all the great information on this topic.. See a bit more sucking up... I Ok, where ever this little guy came from I just love it!! hehe
  3. Thanks everyone for your responses. The unit I am speaking of is the Trunk Mount Light Bar. http://www.chromeglow.com/catalog.asp?prodid=506407&showprevnext=1 Here is a link to it. Please keep the comments coming.. I greatly enjoy everyone's feedback! JM
  4. Has anyone installed the light bar from this company? If so, how do you like it, how bright is it? The price seems fair, and it appears to be a relatively easy mounting unit. I am heading on a trip to AZ and think this would be a good addition to the bike. Oh one last thing, do you need anything special to make the unit function as running and brake lights?
  5. Thanks, I knew someone would find it quick. JM
  6. Could someone please tell me where I could find the adapter that allows you to still split the fairing on a RSV without removing the Passing lights? I know I saw this on a thread here, but I can no longer find it. Any help would be great.. JM
  7. I have used them in the past as well. I ride all year long only with a half helmet even in these Upstae NY winters. I felt that the mask worked well, but it did fog the glasses. I also found it to be a bit uncomfortable during longer trips as your face warms up, or the moisture from breathing dampens the mask. Once that happens you get all wet and the mask can start to smell. Little gross. But, it does keep you warm. Since I kind of enjoy the cooler temp, I started wearing Schampa full face masks. They are thinner, leave a nice opening for your eyes and glasses, yet still allow air movement while you are riding. I find that this mask actually provides more coverage in the neck area, and I can easily move it around if need be while riding. One other bonus I find too is that since they are a full head mask, my ears and head stay warm and since the material is thin you can still hear great. Not to mention, the ones I use have the skull face printed on them, and all the kids in the cars get a kick out of it......
  8. Of course I'm not looking to blow any doors off.. Just curiosity has got this cat... I have switched from a 1600 Vulcan classic, and they feel very different.. I don't feel like she accelerates as well in 5th, but with stock pipes it is much quieter than the old bike.. I am finding sound is very deceiving.
  9. Does anyone know how many RSV's are sold each year? I have looked ever where possible and it just doesn't seem like this information is out there.. I have also been looking for 0-60mph times and speeds along with 1/4 mile info. Any information would be great. Thanks JM:12101:

  11. After these are installed, do the carbs need to be adjusted?
