1. If you have a smart phone, they have free speedometer apps.
2. Can't believe no one likes the strat deluxe with its 4.5 gallon fuel tank and no cruise control!
3. Nice.....I don't know if they beat Blue's key lime pie.........
4. On my '06 rstd 32-37 mpg was the norm on e10. Some say it maybe only running on three cylinders and that rear are most likely to fail (coils).
5. They were fracing everywhere they could for about two good years are in nw La during the Haynesville shell boom. Didn't here a lot about the tremers except for some in east Texas which may have been unrelated. I've heard all the rumors of the ill effects of fracing but can't confirm any of it. I know we have kids every year coming up cancer and I won't eat fish caught out the rivers or Toledo Bend. But, we also had space shuttle debris in the lake too. Who knows what kind of science projects they had on board. I've escorted the sysmic trucks before while they were doing their thing and don't recall feeling any vibration in a vehicle, but a home close by may feel it. They usually work in pairs or group of four.
6. Fyi...Autozone has techron on sale "buy one get one free". Not sure for how long the sale is for.
7. I don't have the skills to work on either and not to confident a Yamaha (dealer) mechanic does either. I do like not having to sync anything.
8. I remembey my grandad getting dentures and hated them. Seems he complained they didn't fit right. And I've heard rumors of dentures being recycled? So, is there a quality difference etc?
9. I'm leaning towards the implants. I too have four moulders with caps that. I was told to have a 10 yr shelf life. At 42 yrs old I could reasonably see replacing them two to three times Lord willing and with permanent I would be done, maybe.
10. That's pretty cool! Hope you get picked. The wife is ready for the next season.
11. Wow...you did good, motorcycles don't go cheap up there? They have new 09's down here for that!
12. Walmart is around $9-$10.
13. Maybe all the above...the first thing they may ask is if you gave him the opportunity to fix it. Or maybe you can persuade him to refund your money on the labor and paint and taken it elsewhere. Has he been in business long? He may have civil suits against him from other shady jobs?
14. That's what I've always heard about van style semi trailers is the square back creates a lot of drag. There's one carrier that runs blue trucks out El Paso that has flaps installed to decrease the drag.
15. I like the lines and the way they incorporated the leds into the lights with a more modern look. I cant see those that like all the geezer chrome liking the clean lines though.
16. I have a Fieldsheer mesh vest that I like. Its not as bright as some, but its nice in hot weather. I'm sure there's better, but the best I could find at the time.
17. Sorry, but I still think it's a sales pitch. If I want to buy one tire and you tell me you cant because the mfd suggestes different. Unless I'm asking them to do something unsafe then who cares, and as long as they inform the buyer that it could result in drivetrain damage then they've passed the liablity onto the customer. I'm not arguing about what the mfd suggests, but the fact that the dealer is using that as an excuse to persuade someone to buy four NEW tires is a sales pitch to me.
18. Sales pitch! I'd have to ask him to look at owners manual and see what the mfd recommends. Either way why would a tire dealer care, its not a safety risk.
19. Fuzzy are you looking for more tail lamps or brake lamps or both? When I had my rstd I had the 100 led board tail/brake light and I put an inspection sticker plate (jp cycles part #600-447) behind the license plate and mountad a Whelen TIR3 led strobe to it. Made an awesome auxiliary brake light. I programmed mine not to strobe. Between the whelen and the custom dynamic led board it was very bright and clean setup. Also wiring is a very easy with the wiring directly behind the license plate.
20. That's it! It sits flush against the three screw hole posts. I had one on my rstd (sold) and it was substantially brighter than the standard bulb. Definitely recommend it.
21. Old Goat what kind of helmet do you like...I've got a fairly new Bell Mag9 XL in matte black. I sealed up the vents to see if would be quieter. Other than that its like new. If you want it I can mail it to you. Just PM me an address and it's yours. James
