Ours was good if you like hard labor. Our son is on vacation after having a rotten year, so the hubby and I decided to "extreme makeover" his kitchen. Ripped up the old, icky, subfloor, put down a new wood floor, painted his kitchen cabinets, and put a new counter top on for him. He gets home tomorrow night and we can't wait to suprise him. We're pooped!! I'm to old for this kind of thing anymore!!!

Thanks for the info!! You should have seen he and his brother Christmas Day!! I think the words were ..."Mom, doesn't it sound sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet"? His xmas list year was: That exhaust Chrome "pig mirrors" Eliminator kit Some kind of new blinkers and a new brake levor The boys were like kids in a candy store putting everything on!! Didn't have a clue what I was ordering, especially the "pig mirrors" but he's tickled with all of it!! Thanks again for all of your help!

Gary and I booked the Hub, but at Christmas our son told us John Deere "might" be changing their annual shut down. Guess which week? The problem is we have started taking the boys on an annual bike trip. This year is Kentucky. I don't dare register until he finds out for sure. We will let you know as soon as we do.

He's 22. Howl is all he wanted and he got it!!!! I will print out all of your posts and let him figure out what he wants or needs to do. Thanks for you input. I appreciate it!

The funny thing is.................I was so excited to give Gary a GPS for the bike for xmas. We've never had one even for the car so imagine my suprise when I opened up his gift to me. The same exact one!!! We decided to keep them both. One for the bike, and one for my car. It will sure help when I am backseat driving on the bike....hehe......!! The best present though was having our son's all home Tues night before all the holiday commotion starts. Sitting by the fireplace, champagne to celebrate, Christmas music playing in the background, candlelights, and a fresh powdery snow outside, the boy's opening their gifts and Gary and I enjoying the moment. They grow up to fast, don't they? What a wonderful evening!

Thought there used to be a thread section for "All other bikes" but couldn't find it so I just put it in the Watering Hole. My son just put a new straight pipe on his bike. It has no baffles. He wants to know if he needs to have it rejetted. Appreciate any advice.

It's taking me 2 hours to try and get through all the new posts since I left...I have to say...for all you men out there who think your wives talk a lot...it looks to me like you guys do most of the yakkin' around here! Nice to be back to this rowdy crowd!!!

Hey Red Rider, I'm out of here for the rest of the holiday. Just wanted to wish you and your son a Merry Christmas and to tell you thanks again for your hospitality this summer when we came through!!!

I'm not fessin' up to anything I was or did in high school!! But I will say, that my past experiences have helped me out in my adult life. (That doesn't quite sound how I meant it to).....anyway, I'm glad your getting her something!!! Merry Christmas, from one Iowawegian to another!!!

If you get her a new vacum cleaner, I'm going to borrow Rosebud's wok that she got for Christmas and clobber you over the head with it!

There's always a trouble maker in the group!!! I'll let you "scrape "by with the first one then since you have good intentions!!!

Just so you all know, I'm not trying to put a guilt trip on anyone, but for those that are answering "no", you can buy a nice card at the Dollar store for 99 cents, and it doesn't cost a thing to write how much you appreciate her!! I know it would mean a lot to her! Merry Christmas to all of you and especially to your better half!!
-
Wishing you the warmest of holidays!

Well, now you've gone and done it! I'm going to have to haul Gary's behind into the office to show him the pix of your trailer. I can already see a great big grin on his face looking at that thing! I bet you really gets some smiles when people see that!!
