Very nice ride. Bring it to Maintenance Day. You can park beside Eddie and Buckshot.

Yea, I tried it last night. I'm working with the software company to try and find a solution.

Did you install your own hitch or paid to have installed ?
Freebird replied to AngryAmish's topic in Trailer Talk
I wish you lived closer. I would have you pick up a hitch from Larry and I would install it and the wiring for free. Nothing to it. -
Please try this link. http://host718.123flashchat.com/venturerider/htmlchat/123flashchat.html?init_host=host718.123flashchat.com&init_port=21127&init_host_s=host728.123flashchat.com&init_port_s=443&init_host_h=host738.123flashchat.com&init_port_h=443&init_group=venturerider&init_root=http://host718.123flashchat.com/venturerider/ Actually I just checked and it is the same as the one above. Will have to test it when there is somebody in the room.

Miles, to me, what makes that car COOL is that it is such a little "sleeper". I'm sure you have surprised some people with it. That would be a lot of fun. Really does appear to be in great shape though.
-
No, sorry. I'll try to do that later this evening though.

LOL...you'll be waiting a while Dan. I'm SURE you will be old enough by the time that I sell mine. There are two problems with me selling it. First of all, I really can't afford to replace it with a new one right now. This one has been paid for a long time ago. Second of all, there is no way that I would take for it what people are saying that '99 models are worth. It's worth more than that to me.

Looks very low maintenance. Good for him.

I was in Cape Cod a few years ago when the zipper broke on my leather jacket. I took it to a local shoe and leather repair shop and he put a new zipper in that day.
-
Yea, I just tried it and it didn't work for me either. I'll look at it tonight. To be honest, I had forgotten all about it and don't know if anybody ever used it or not.
-
I have no idea. I would think that it should though.

Now there you go trying to stir stuff up again. But yes, that's the one.

How sweet it is..... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

The cost of registering a motorcycle in Quebec !! OMG !!
Freebird replied to AngryAmish's topic in Watering Hole
One year registration here in Ohio is $28.87 on my '99. Liability insurance is about $75.00 a year. So....total is 103.87 per year. -
Loved it. Good friends having good times. That's what it is all about. Fantastic choice of tunes also.
-
Thank you Miles. I'm glad you like them. When I first had them made a few years ago, the cost of having the custom mold made and etc. was fairly expensive. I didn't know if it was worth it or not but I'm glad now that I did it.

I have XM in the Avalanche, Sirius in my wif'es Crossfire, XM through my Garmin 665 that I move between my company Caravan and the bike. I also have an Sirius unit connected to the home stereo. That being said, we have come to prefer Pandora to satellite radio. We use Pandora about 99% of the time in the house. The problem with Pandora is exactly what Brian said. At the house, it is connected via WIFI so uses no data on the cell phones but when you get on the road, you start using data. If you have a limited data plan, it can go through it pretty quickly. Now my phone has unlimited date as it is grandfathered in from when Verizon had the unlimited data. My wife's phone does not however. You have to be careful with that. We still use the satellite radios most of the time when traveling. I'm going to cancel the unit that is in the house though.

Well I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is that all your bells were indeed shipped a few minutes ago so hopefully they will be in your hands soon. The bad news is just for our International members. Unfortunately shipping has gone WAY up since the last time I shipped bells. If you have ordered then you are fine, I am not asking for nor will I accept any extra money from you. If you didn't get in on this shipment though, unfortunately the price is going up a decent bit if you are in Canada. Shipping the bells to our USA members cost about $2.25 on average. Shipping to Canada cost me $7.35 on average. I was charging a dollar extra for our Canadian members and that almost covered it the last time I did this. I didn't realize how much it had gone up. So, I am having to change the pricing for the bells for our Canadian members and I am sorry that is the case. Bells, including shipping to Canada, will now cost $19.00 each as opposed to the old price of $15.00. Actually I'm going to take another look at it though. These prices are actually for one bell. I can probably reduce it a bit for two or more.

What do I think? I think that I am fully capable of getting into enough trouble without the help of you clowns.

I have oil in my coolant!
Freebird replied to mbelik's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I'm sorry to say that I think you have misunderstood the information about the plugs. I don't think there is anyway that they can cause you to get oil in your coolant. Unfortunately, I think you have a much bigger problem. I'm not even sure that your Royal Star has those plugs, I don't know for sure but all the posts I've seen here about them has been in regards to the Royal Star Venture. Hopefully somebody else will come up with a simpler explanation but my first thought is a bad head gasket. -
Yea, maybe I should have tried the YouTube route. I thought I was getting close. I did get a letter back from her people. At first glance...I thought it said that she wanted to go walking but apparently it said something about STALKING? What is that all about?

OK folks, I got the Guardian Bells on Monday and have been sitting here in my hotel room addressing the packages and getting them ready to mail. They will go out first thing tomorrow morning. Sorry it took me a couple days longer than I expected. I still have extras should any of the rest of you want them. Just check the VentureRider Merchandise forum for ordering info.

Hey..I may actually have a backup plan to the backup plan but I'm going to keep THAT one my little secret. Now you don't be buying any presents for me. I'm all good here.

Good...then everything is OK again. Well...we COULD give away your bike...
