    I have a 2005 Midnight and the trunk lid only opens as far as shown in the picture. I took it apart but it appears there is not more travel on the rod to extend it futher. Question. Should it open further? Am I missing something? Thanks. [ATTACH][ATTACH]78198[/ATTACH][/ATTACH]

    The bike has 46,000KM on it. It starts great and runs good. No complaintes. So you think just leave it?

    Thanks for the feedback guys. Don, I updated my header with bike info. The bike has 46,000km on it. Marcarl, thanks for the offer. I found another write up on The Ventures MC Website and along with the write up by Goose I think I may just try it.

    Can anyone recommend a dealer or bike shop within a reasonable distance that can do the valve adjustment for me. Just don't know of a shop that I would trust and not sure if it's beyond my capabilities to do such a job. Thanks.
