Well sadly I did not win any portion of the Power Ball lottery.
What I get a kick out of though is people that win large lottery amounts and then say "My life won't change." REALLY?? Unless before the winning, you could walk into any car or bike dealer and simply buy what you wanted without having to even ask the price....your life will change. Then you also need to think about the security aspect of it....perhaps it's just my former LEO mentality but think about the security......some idiot is going to see your face on TV, realize you......or your wife......or your kids....or your dog are worth tons of money and either burglarize your home, rob you personally or kidnap a family member for ransom. You continue working and some co-worker or just a member of the public recognizes you from seeing you on TV as the winner and and suddenly they come up with some bogus lawsuit that you discriminated against them at work, or some other BS story, hoping you'll settle and simply pay them out to shut them up.
After a big win you have to know that you will suddenly having an amazing number of "friends"that you haven't seen in years that want to re-connect, and charities and other groups hounding you for support. Long lost family relatives will come crawling out of the woodwork.
To say "My life won't change" after a big win is just ridiculous.
