  1. That bike is going to look AWSOME. Can't weight to see it finished and a big thank you for what you do for the kids.
  2. Cute kid. I hope you all have a great time. Good weather and safe travels.
  3. Well I have been following this thread and have decided to through my hat in the pot for a WV rally. The place I have in mind has camping, cabins and motel all on site. Early Oct. would be a perfect time at this location.
  4. Prayers up Scott.
  5. Great pics. wish we could have been there.
  6. Jonas I would love to come to Iceland for a rally. But I would have to come alone as the wife will not get on a plane.
  7. If brake fluid got on the grip and caused it to come loose it has penetrated the grip and swelled it up. It will eventually fall apart.
  8. Yes they are the same size.
  9. I put a set of Kickers in the fairing but did not keep them in long. Got a set of the DB-401. They are a good fit without filing the bolt holes like I had to with the Kickers.
  10. I wear prescription glasses and they are tinted, they get darker when out side doing anything. I also use a modular helmet and with the shield down the glasses do not get dark du to the ultraviolet rays blocked by the shield. The helmet that I use does have a sun shade in it so that helps. When I am doing 85 MPH the shield is down and locked in place, the wind does not bother me at those speeds.
  11. Dan Try Partshark.com. They have new OEM parts at a good price. Better than a dealer. I have used them on a few occasions and was happy with what I got.
  12. As far as I know, no one is making them.
  13. I have it is called a Stallion. I saw a white one a couple years ago and talked to the owner. They have a four cylinder Ford motor and auto trans. He said it is fun to ride and gets great gas mileage.
  14. What about the vent tube? I hear that it can cause problems with the fuel flow.
  15. No they are from Diamond R Accessory pegs.
  16. As for the rear pads wearing funny. They all do . Best thing to do is switch the pads from side to side. I do mine about every 2,000 miles. That way I know when I have to change brakes. Those rotors get expensive to replace for a brake shoe.
  17. If you were long hill with a lot of switch backs and used your rear brake a lot to slow down . They got hot and lost there ability to slow or stop you. I am in WV with a lot of mountains, when I start down and I think or know it is steep and twisty I use 3 RD gear and let the motor hold me back and the brakes do not get hot.
  18. Sorry to hear of your crash but glad you are OK. The bike can be fixed. I have a front fairing off a 99 it has one tab broke off at the windshield but other wise it is in good shape. You can have it if you want it. I got it for the chrome and that is all I needed.
  19. Don't worry you will be able to buy one. When it is 30 years old.
  20. I can't see much difference in price between it, Goldwing, HD or BMW. Even the last year for the Venture was $21,000.
  21. I got it Bob. Thanks and you are welcome.
  22. Would you be interested in a Saddleman Road Sofa with a backrest? I think the backrest will fit the Corbin also.
  23. I would like to see one held in WV even if it is every other year. For the time frame I would pick early Oct. Doesn't matter where it is good riding and plenty of things to do.
  24. Hope you have a safe deployment and return safe.
