  1. I haven't watched a game since they kicked Pete Rose out.
  2. I use the OEM pads. Just a little hint. Get a "C" clamp just big enough to go over the caliper and use the old pad to push the pistons in so the caliper will go back over the new pads. Remember to use a thin piece of wood on the out side of the caliper so you do not scratch it with the clamp. Only do one side at a time
  3. I usually check my fluids twice a year. Once in the spring and then mid summer. Change the fluid every other winter.
  4. Congrats on the retirement David. I would say enjoy your free time but you paid for it. So just enjoy your time. I will be doing the same thing next May. just three months short of 37 years.
  5. Dang sorry to hear of the trouble you are going through. Hope they can get you fixed up without any trouble. Prayers sent your way.
  6. That is why I put a works shock on mine when the stock one puked. I haven't heard any bad complaints from anyone with a Hagon shock.
  7. We were up in PA. today also. Went up to Cowans Gap state park and over to Burnt Cabins. I was also in Reading last week for the NHRA Nationals, had a blast.
  8. Thanks for posting this Eck. I will be riding tomorrow. It has been planed for a couple months and not knowing about National ride day either, makes it even better.
  9. I looked at the pic a couple times. Something is wrong with the lowers. Look how far they are from the wind deflectors and you can see the electrical parts behind the fairing. I do not think the fairing should be that far forward.
  10. GW I am sorry to hear this. Prayers sent to you, your family and his. It is hard to loose a friend and coworker.
  11. Don we may be interested. I will run it by the wife and depending on what time of the year.
  12. If you just need the mounting brackets go to Partshark.com they have them and you can see them on their part fitch to make sure that you are getting the right part. The last set I got from them were something like 13.00 for both brackets.
  13. Eck I was on the lotto list twice in four months up here and didn't get to trial on either time. Had to laugh at the wife though she hit the lottery the next month after she chuckled at me.
  14. I have done both and they work just fine for what I need. I use a trailer when I need to, or just slip the extra trunk on when I need it
  15. About the only way to overcome that situation would be to have your seats reworked. Remove some of the padding from your seat and add some to hers.
  16. Yes the sun shade is nice on those bright days. And if it is not dark enough, you can get them darker.
  17. My thoughts on this subject. The RSTD does not have the fairing with all the weight of the RSV and the trunk and CB radio under it. I am not sure but think that the RSTD is a little lower also. Just those will cause a lot of differences in acceleration and cornering. They both have the same motor, tranny and rear gear unless the PO changed the gearing to a V- Max gear in the RSTD.
  18. Sad story for the helmet. I have the same one you just got. I didn't get the color that I wanted but like the red one anyhow. I got mine for $189. and no discount. I guess it is where the market is.
  19. Sure can. I might want you to take me a ride. Never been in one before.
  20. .. And it did.
  21. You should have set up a camera. That would make a lot of Utube videos.
  22. You can't stop every body from doing something like this. The problem is with the judges and lawyers who do not use the laws that are already in place. They let them go with a slap on the hands and pat themselves on the back for doing a good job even though it cost someone their life.
  23. Sounds like the squealing may be coming from your wallet.
  24. Pain with a workout means that you are healing, that is good. Keep up the good work Dan we are here to hear about your akes and pains.
  25. Rick is the MM giving you any trouble? Why take parts off it to put on the new bike? I have an extra front fairing and you should be able to get the lowers off ebay. You could sell the MM to cover the cost of the rebuild.
