  1. I’m thinking that the oil came from under your garage floor… there’s an oil well there just waiting for you to start drilling!🛢️🛢️🛢️
  2. The Natchez Trace is very close to my sisters’ home in Franklin! I envy you!
  3. It’s 9:30 am and I’m all dressed up and ready to ride to the Tomahawk Fall Ride in Tomahawk WI. I have to be there by noon and it’s almost a 2 hour ride. My riding partner is supposed to be here and he’s not. He is always on time or early so I’m thinking the worst. At 10 am I finally call him.. no answer! Then 5 minutes later he calls me back and I find out that the ride is next weekend!!! Now I’m doing honey do projects!😠😠😠😠
  4. You go, Mrs. Steve! I’m looking forward to the day when Mrs. Pastor Curt tells me that same thing!😃😃😃
  5. Got back home last Friday from Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on the bike. 970 miles in two days!!,and yesterday afternoon I was rotating tires on the car and checking tire pressures. I thought “why don’t I do all the vehicles as long as I have everything out?” So I crawled under the right saddlebag to check the rear tire and found the muffler hanging down. I had lost the rear mounting bolt and rubber isolator. So I dig around in my treasures and come up with a suitable replacement and voila!, she is up and running again!
  6. Great job bringing that bike back from the land of perpetual “when I get around to it!”
  7. Absolutely!! We were at Sturgis this year and there was a very sizable CanAm contingent there. So just because you’re a little more gray than last year doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep on riding. But the twisties aren’t as much fun!
  8. Nice ride!!
  9. It is a different animal for sure! But you can squirm around and change positions without tipping over. Stretch out and put your feet on the front fenders, play with all the electronic gizmos the RSV doesn’t have etc!
  10. First day of riding (in a parking lot for my wife). She has never ridden by herself and only been a passenger behind me for 7 years! But she’s game to learn to ride! I’m very proud of her!
  11. Nice ride! It will be a blessing to you, I’m sure!
  12. Well, we pulled the trigger and bought a CanAm for the wife. We were vacationing in Roundup MT with our son and his family and my wife was checking the FB marketplace for CanAm’s and one popped up that was in Billings, an hour away. It was what we had wanted but were not looking to buy one 1200 miles from home. The price was right and God orchestrated the details, so Monday at noon, we were leaving Billings with a 2017 CanAm in the family! It does kinda stink that the car gets 20 mpg more than the bike! Now all we have to do is teach her how to drive it since she has never ridden her own!
  13. We’re looking at one this afternoon for the wife.
  14. Sounds like an adventure and did you get the Metzlers to where they need replacing?
  15. I’m sorry to hear about your incident and I am glad that you’re ok! Maybe you can search your old posts on this site for the answers as to which handlebars you had.
