  1. I repaired one by cutting a strip of ABS plastic sheet and mixed acetone with ABS scraps to make a “glue” to bond it to the back. Holding great.
  2. Jealousy isn’t nice🤣🤣🤣
  3. Saw this on a FB motorcycle trailer page, though it was pretty cool.
  4. It’s in the manual that’s downloadable here. A tip for you: use a good puller on the flywheel, get it set and use a strap to tie it to the bike. When the flywheel comes loose it’ll usually launch itself. I tighten the puller down and give it a couple sharp raps with a hammer, tighten again-rap again ……. It’ll pop all at once. Some people get the puller tight and walk away until the launch.
  5. Keep it up there.
  6. Starting to feel like riding some more and needed a new front tire, got that installed today and finally replaced the front wheel bearings after having them on the shop wall a couple years. Figured out I didn’t have a drift long enough to get em out so I welded a sacrificial socket to the inner race and used a long extension and hammer it out.
  7. I’ll punch out a few sets this weekend and keep some hanging on the wall, already planned to fire the shop up and make some passenger pegs anyway.
  8. https://m.facebook.com/marketplace/item/929399205145422/ Thinking it probably needs a pin replaced. If it was closer to me I’d be on the way to check it out.
  9. Had X-rays and MRI, doc says the hip is good. No explanation for the pain unless coming from my back. The nerve bundle going to the hip passes between the two vertebrae I crushed in a wreck 36 years ago. Gonna get that checked soon,
  10. Haven’t been riding much, back and hip problems keeping me sidelined. Last week we had a 70* day so I sucked it up and we did almost 200 miles. West TN dragon, crossed the ferry, and back to Ky all on back roads.
  11. Left side behind side cover. Take off passenger foot board.
  12. I run the Shinko front with a darkside rear. Been happy with it.
  13. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣That sounds like something my wife would do: “But it’s on sale and a really good price “. Never mind I’m spending $200 to save $50.
  14. First step, open the front fairing. On the right side of the radio(as sitting on bike) you’ll see a bundle of large round plugs, unplug and clean them and add some dielectric grease. That fixes the majority of similar issues. Welcome to our circus by the way. You can find information for about anything on the bike here and even more that’s not bike related 🤣. We have a good time here.
  15. Looks like a great deal to me. As far as the pipes go I’m an OEM fan, I like my bike quiet. The first thing I did to mine was to change the pipes back to original, luckily the PO still had them.
  16. Hope y’all make it thru without further sickness.
  17. I haven’t messed with an Eluder but I used a clamp made for pontoon Bimini tops on the grab bars of my 2nd Gen and built the arm rests from there. Maybe you can do something similar or build up from the grab bar mounts.
  18. You’re right the weather was great, we made the mistake of taking the boat out instead of the bike. Fishing was a bust.
  19. I’m a Season’s Inn people too.
  20. Found ya. 🤣🤣🤣
  21. I use the community map, enlarge the area you want to look at.
  22. Working with a dr for a few more weeks to see what my spring looks like, hoping to start planning a get together here again soon. Looking maybe early June. Loose plans to take a trip up the Blue Ridge in July with the marm before school fires up. It’ll be her last summer vacation before retiring in 2024. Hoping to make Vogel in August, a lot depends on the next few weeks dealing with the doc on my back and hip.
  23. We had an HR manager that liked to use that line. I invited her to ride a fire truck for a few days to see if she still believed it. She declined. Many accidents are caused by complacency or carelessness but some can’t be foreseen.
  24. We each put 1 present under the tree and draw numbers, when your number is up you can choose to open a present or steal one that somebody else already has. With that many people it can get lively. We have a lot of fun whether you’re stealing something you want or just doing it to mess with somebody else.
