I am 6' 3'' and some where north of 375 the wife is 5' 4'' i love the leg room and the floor boards being able to preposition my feet on them and highway pegs. She says much more comfortable on it i rode solo in high cross wind Sunday did not notice much difference then first gen. Have not ever rode a 500 mile day yet on either one yet . Still chilly here in Iowa yet so no heat problem yet . If you are in the area stop in and ride her (the bike ) and find out for your self . Can't wait to share the same road with you guys some time maybe at the International.

They say i am hard on the outside but really i am a big softy thus the turtle name . Slow and steady wins the race besides turtles live a long time , and rabbits do 2 things go fast and reproduce past that stage in my life . Time to slow down and talk with friends speed is too much stress at this time I want to take my time and enjoy the serene.

Here are a few pics of the beautiful bike i bought late last season . We met some great people at last years Leaf Lookers ride and they convinced my wife and me that we needed to look at 2 cd gen. Boy were they right still like my first gen but for cruising down the highway what a great ride. I have already add a few personal touches Diamond cut fins and master cylinder covers (thanks Mike), newer style antennas so i now have both and matching , carb covers , Wolo horn (thanks Kathy valentine present) . front bumper . side bag rails (thanks again to my lovely wife), also have side bag top rails yet to install. Also had a copy of my tattoo add to the top of my trunk (Thanks to Eric @ AIR EFFECTS in NORTH LIBERTY, IOWA) i guess i will be stuck with the bike now to bad:(i love when a plan comes together.

Took off to Muscatine then to Davenport to DeWitt then to sisters house and back to Iowa city. All total about 225miles great day

Some plastic parts are hard to get primers to lock out . Ifeel you had any cut through the base solve goes through causing the problem. Prime with a water base primer and make sure you have enough fill build even though you can't see a UT through if you don't have enough film build it still can happen.

Look at a dress not going to freeze and when they pour it they lift the rear as they fill it with a rake.

I am going to replace the rubber plugs behind the cylinder fins lost one while i had fins off for Diamond Cutting (Thanks Mike ) so i was told if doing one might as well do all. Have not done this before is there anything to watch for or not to do ? i am still looking for a thread for this procedure but paint , body work , and most mechanical i am ok with computer searches not so much. Thanks in advance best site ever and can i say love my bikes 1st and 2cd gen.

We have purchased a 99 rsv and are looking at headsets never had any before. I am looking at a HTC IS MAX I I modular helmet and the wife is looking same style. I would like to be able to use the cb and possible smart phone for music and navigation when needed but also use the radio too. If someone has any suggestions I would appreciate any thoughts
