Quaker Steak & Lube - Freebird MD - Friday Night

Recommended Posts

I have talked to the Quaker Steak & Lube that we have went to the last 2 years in Shefield, Oh and they have a large party booked Friday night.

The QSL in Vermillion can handle us. They have 28 tables on the dock balcony. It will be somewhat different than the Sheffield site, but still dinner together. This one will be a more traditional outdoor setting rather than the picnic type tables. We will need to use the tables to the maximum capacity, but we are all friends here.

It is the same distance as Sheffield. About a 20 mile ride. Last 2 years people left in small groups to go to QSL. But I would say plan on around 5:00~6:00 time at restaurant.

I am putting an event on the calender for this.

Map from Don's to QSL link below. This will actually be a nicer ride than to the one in Sheffield.

Please let me know an approximate head count.

Added calender link below.

What time are you leaving Dons?

What time are you planing to arrive at QS&L?

I will be arriving at Dons on Friday, I may have to meet you all at the QS&L and then set up camp after getting steaked and lubed.......

We don't all go at one time. Last year some left around 4:30 and started the festivities. As far as latest arrivals, there were people arriving easily well past 6 or 7. Then we didn't all just get up & head out, people left at varying times.

It is about a 30 min ride from Don's to QSL. Map shows 3 turns, so it is a very easy route.

What time?

Thanks,

Mary Jo

Might plan on being there 5:00 ~ 6:00, but last 2 years people have left in small groups and went when they felt like it.

It isn't a catered type dinner, we just order from menu, so arrival time is not that important.
