Selling my beautiful 2009 RSV. Low mileage, lots of extras. Garmin Zumo GPS, highway pegs, aftermarket seat, backrest, trunk spoiler with light, second aftermarket brake below the truck, chrome crash protection bars for the bags, LED headlight bulb included but no yet installed. New battery this year. Asking $9,000.00 Canadian safetied. Would be interested in a trade for an 1800 Goldwing.

I did somer major restoration work on one a friend of mine bought last summer. I should ask to see if it was him.

I have noticed a vibration, almost an up and down feeling on hard acceleration on my 98 RSTD. Is this normal? Air pressure is good both on both suspension and tires. Front end is tight with no wobble. On smooth acceleration there's no vibration.

Both replies are good options, Paul I have read about the bootable usb drive but have not thought about the second hard drive idea, I have a few old hard drives laying around.

Wouldn't the ignition bypass relay shut down the entire bike electrical system? Or does it see the load when you hit the starter button? The last month was all about the safety interlocks like the clutch switch, stand switch, neutral switch...but yes I plan to go through them again. I wondered if it's something on the low side of the starter solenoid that I don't even get the click. I'll dive into it later this week

If you want to play with Linux, I've found one of the easiest to install and has similarity to Windows is Linux Mint. If your hardware is old, there's a 'light' version of Linux Mint. You can also try before you commit to it by creating a bootable Linux Mint USB using a Windows app called 'Rufus'. Yet another option - buy a new hard drive and use the bootable Linux Mint USB to install it to the new hard drive. Keep your Windows drive hooked up in the computer, and you will be able to browse the old drive.

You would hear the relay if it was the starter. Possibilities off the top of my head: do you have an ignition bypass installed? Check that relay if so. ignition switch, sidestand switch, cables/wire connection clean and tight at the starter relay and battery.

After a month of methodically picking away at the clutch-neutral-kill switch interlock system I THOUGHT I had the problem resolved. Multiple short trips around town and no issues with restarting. Went to take a nice ride yesterday and after 30 min I stopped for gas and the bike wouldn't crank. Pushed the bike into a parking spot and walked next door for lunch. After an hour the bike restarted and I headed home. 30 min ride home and in the driveway the bike wouldn't crank. Wait an hour and it turns over just fine. As noted above, its a purely starter/electrical issue... bike turns on, fuel pump primes, but hit the starter and no-crank, not even a solenoid click. I haven't started back into the system yet and figured I'd post on here for moral support. I assume its a heat-soak issue either at the safety interlock relay that's right in front of the battery box, the starter solenoid, or the starter.

I've been on that similar dilemna in the past and I decided to keep my best and mostly used computer at home and buy a very dependable computer that I carry around to and from work and for leisure use, while away from home. I you are computer savvy and love to work on operating systems and have tons of time to do so, Linux is a great way to explore its potential. I tried Linux, but decided to stay with Windows to do digital comms as a long time ham radio operator. My suggestion to you is to just get rid of your old Win 10 computers since they are 'rarely' used and simply upgrade your current and mostly used computer to its full potential and enjoy it. It is true, the end of Win 10 is coming to an end just like anything else.

Ok, trying to decide what to do I have three computers that I use although two are rarely used. One is W-11 and the other two are W-10 and are not capable of being upgraded they are like me just to old I guess. Never tried Linux and after looking into it there are several to choose from so what are my options Linux, new computer or disconnect the two W-10's from the internet. The end of 10 is coming

My first was a two tone blue '84. Sold it to my brother, who eventually sold it to a retired fire chief. The fire chief was scared of it and parked it behind his barn, outside, no cover, in 2005. It's still behind the barn, twenty years on.

That's exactly the first venture that I ever owned, that was around '85 I believe. Got lots of compliments on it.

I scored a new one from Partzilla last year but I don’t think they have them anymore. Upholsterer probably the best bet now.

Sure is good to hear and see the works of the Creator, how 2 little tiny cells became one through love and then grew into a real human being, reflecting not only the mom and dad but more importantly the Creator Himself. Congrats to all of you for being so entrusted.

Congratulations! Happy to hear mom ans baby are doing well. It doesn't take long, my 3 year old grandson is already riding a 2 wheeled ebike on a dirt track! He's s actually pretty darn good at it.
