No I just had them go over the chassis grease points and what I need to watch out for in maintenance.

I'm glad I found her a good home. Feels like she's still in the family. Did Hannigan give it a checkup?
-
I think that's a good option.

Has anyone looked into Asheville koa west for the meet up, might be an option.

Hi all, in July I rode through Bear Tooth Pass, AMAZING! Literally the day I got back home to Minnesota, my throttle cable broke! Whew, that was lucky. My local repair guy found the p/n on the oem diagram, it lists "41V-26312-00-00 Cable 2 (pull cable)". He ordered a new cable from Ebay with this p/n, but now that he's doing the repair, he found the cable doesn't come with the adjuster elbow piece (photo attached). And the new cable's terminator doesn't fit through the old adjuster elbow; because the terminator is too large to fit through. We can't put it together with what we have. Cable 1 (push) is still available from Yamaha, but Cable 2 (pull) isn't. I don't find the right cable with a web search. Does anyone know where to get this cable with the adjuster piece like the OEM diagram shows??

Naah, they’re arguing synthetic vs Dino.

I wonder what those two bikes are saying to each other, looks like they are having a conversation about Ronnie. 😊
-
I’m sure $$$. I’ll stick to a V4 carb unit I don’t have to make payments on. On that note I bought Motorcycle Mike’s trike a few weeks ago.
-
Don’t know a lot about the Challenger but it looks great. I’m sure it’s expensive.

They have sold to Cypress Creek Motorsports. Dave and Ruthann are staying on staff for a three year transition before fully retiring. The Venture was never a huge seller for them but I don’t see very many people willing to invest that much $$ into a bike that’s been out of production since 2013. He did tell me they’re hanging on to the molds. The trike market is falling just like the touring market, younger people aren’t buying them. I use the same powder coater as Hannigan, he told me a couple years ago that he gets trailer and side car frames but very few trike frames anymore. They have a 3rd gen in right now getting a sidecar fitted to it. Cypress Creek builds a ground up trike using Chevrolet V8s and automatic transmissions. Called Challenger Trikes.

I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. I don’t know. I didn’t know that Hanniganv had sold.
-
I stopped in at Hannigan’s factory today, one of the office guys told me they dropped the RSV and a few other bikes out of their lineup this year. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the selling of the brand or not.

I did 1098 miles on my IB run in 2019. No desire to ever do it again, never mind every day.

Everyday, there is always something new that comes up in the news. Sounds to me it is a huge network.

Not only that we need to find out who backed him. Some reports of up to 70K transferred to him in the weeks prior. Some reports said it was from shadow companies of the Socialist Democrat party. To be clear not the Democrat party. This is the one Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are a part. If this is actually true it would shake up parts of the congress and senate as well as NYC.

I've been on segments of the Natchez trace and wouldn't mind doing the whole route. First time on it we were passing quite a few. In talking to and Attorney I work with he let me know to not get caught speeding on it because it's a federal road. Getting a ticket on is not just paying a fine you have to show up in federal court. Good thing we didn't get caught 'cuz we hit some of it pretty hard.

@BratmanXj Simple reason. You are having fun!

Anybody find a windshield bags that fits in the RSV ? I have a 2011 i found 1 at a bike rally that kinda fit. But no matter how much cutting and fitting the plastic piece that goes behind windshield it still works it way out and falls over speedometer..

I did an I.B. Lake Michigan Loop as my 40th Birthday "bucket list", got home in 18hrs and joked with my riding buddy that we should have planned the 1,500 Gold ride just in case. 5yrs later and my knees hurt every morning and hands getting numb on the commute to work....and I wonder how I did it with such ease.

@RDawson I think you were meant to be a firefighter. God has great plans for you despite the evil things that happened on 09/11/2001. Good always prevails. I too will never forget that day and on the same day, different year...my third child was born on 9/11.
-
That was the day I had my physical to start my career at the fire dept. I’ll never forget that day for several reasons.
-
I rode ONE 900 mile day, from New Ulm Minnesota to Hopkinsville KY in 18 hours. There is no way i could ever do 1000 miles a day for 4 months. He is a strong man.

N3FOL started following 6mm ARC Anyone?

I've never owned a long gun, but all I can say is 'Very Nice'!

The Natchez Trace is very close to my sisters’ home in Franklin! I envy you!

Sounds like a great ride. Wish I could have been there.
