I did indeed....'Still Riding the Star Venture'. Today was dry, hot and very humid but this did not stop me from riding. It is a blessing to get another round of wind therapy. Ride safe wherever your destination may be.

I've been gone for awhile but is Robert Butler still around? Both my RSV and RSTC came with "Butlerized" stock seats and they are awesome. He does great work at what used to be a very reasonable price.

Just checked and days being looked at are 23rd(Tuesday)with 24th (Wednesday)as rain date 24th with 31st (Thursday)as rain date 31st with August 1st (Friday)as rain date Time?

So sad to hear of Don's passing. He was always fun to ride with, his jokes and wit always made your time with him interesting. Our condolences to Patty and his family and friends.

Many of us knew and enjoyed the company Don Ellis, B2Dad over the past years. I just learned that he completed his earthly journey. Don will be missed by all who knew him. Please say a prayer for Patti and the rest of the family.

So wood a week day around 5pm work or would it have to be a Saturday? A week day might be OK temperature wise(might be cooler) but might have to change depending if it rains!

I did send him a text. I actually hand carried mine to him as I was already going to Dallas on business at the time. I have LOVED mine this whole time. Did 2 Saldde Sore 1000's and probably 20 800 mile days on it, butt never bothered me. I just saw an almost new set on ebay for 200. owner took them off at 10,000 miles, so I bought them and can move on with life.

Hi all, I haven't posted in a while, been reviewing a Tenere 700 and now a Honda 300 Rally. I take my Gen 2 out for the LONG day rides - like 500-800 miles, and the seat foam has given up. Any suggestions on how to rebuild it, it is the pillow top with buttons. Thanks for any guidance.

It won't be long, she'll be "riding into the sunset' and you'll be left alone by yourself at home. Just kidding... Glad to see she has a sweet smile on her face. That CanAm is a perfect match for your wife.

August 13-17. I’m not sure if we’re heading down on the 12th or 13th. I’m going to trailer down for a change, not sure yet how the back will handle long trips. Some of us are staying at Season”s Inn in Blairsville, others camping.

First day of riding (in a parking lot for my wife). She has never ridden by herself and only been a passenger behind me for 7 years! But she’s game to learn to ride! I’m very proud of her!

We're still on the ol' 87. Runs like the day we picked it up in 2011 with 60,000km, now over 210,000km. Driving less past 4 years. Last few years around spring time we talk about CanAms. They're a natural fit for us agewise. But we'll drive the 87' another season see what happens next year. Might as well enjoy it while we can.

Good morning to all. Our area got so much rain yesterday and some areas got over 7 inches of rain in a span of 5 hours. For consolation, today is going to be the driest day of the week so that means I'll be riding to and from work. Ride safe and stay cool.

I can make it the 21st through the 29, and then after the long weekend. I have some things that will get in the way of course but I'm home between those dates.

Probably goes away when you straighten the bike up as well. Normal.
