Jeff if there is anything we can do in helping you get Brad's bike back together (First Gen.) let us know money wise or maybe parts from Yammer Dan's extra parts bikes. At times Being in Okla. kinda put us out of reach of helping family members but if there is something please let us know! Buddy

This morning on the way to Sam's Club, while in a left hand turn lane a 1stGen made a turn in front of me coming off the street I was about to turn onto. And...... I flipped a u-ee and chased him down to a hardware store he pulled into. If he hadn't of stopped I'da never caught him being as how those 1stGens are so fast and all. Pulled along side as he was sitting there and struck up a conversation. He lives in Cresent City, and keeps an '85 up there, and an '87 down here in Sacramento. His '87 is identical to mine only in one piece.... I envited him to our Dec 1st M&E and told him about the board. Hope he shows up. Nice guy.

After 1 month in the air the bike is finally on the road. And the best thing is I have several left over bolts and screws. Every time I work on the bike I seem to have some left over. So, I keep them in a container and eventually Ill have enough to put together another bike.......I must have at least 15 bolts/screws in the jar right now. Maybe next years teardown ill have even more left over.

So all my buds with Harleys have Guardian Bells. Is that for Harleys only? I want all the voodoo help I can get.

Went to a marine swap last Saturday and came home with a 'hit'n'miss'. It doesn't look like much, and it never may. I just couldn't help myself. I love to hear these old things run, and I always make it a point to spend some time taking in the display of chuffers at the State Fair. Besides I need a break from scoots for a while.....

What a nice week end for a ride me and the wife took off for a long ride sat.AM got home at dusk. got up Sunday jumped on the bike and off we went .rode until PM came home time to change oil got every thing out and went at it well some one (that would be me )for got to put the oil plug back in didn't see it right off had all most 3 quarts on the grage floor :whistling:

I am seriously considering a Ft. Collins run, but am unsure of my Cb. Is there a way of increasing output power a little on the radio itself, and, or, improving my output by fine tunning this single masted unit as a whole? I very seldom actually transmit because I haven't been blessed with the gift of gab, but if I need it in the desert, in the middle of the night - I want to have all the power I can get. :whistling:

what method do you use to remove and remount your own tires. I've seen 1 article on Harbor Freight tire changer. Is this any good? What do you use to balance them or take them to a shop? Thanks
