The shifter bracket portion (lower rear corner) on my 86 left side case broke off leaving the linkage dangling. Anyone know if these can be welded? Is it alum. or magnesium? Or is there a source to by this piece. Thanks, Gary

All I need is one last piece to fix the fairing and finish my parts hunt and I hit the refresh to see the price go from 30 to 122 bucks and pretty much right out of my reach. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/86-93-1989-YAMAHA-VENTURE-ROYALE-RIGHT-SIDE-SPEAKER_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ35596QQihZ015QQitemZ250170170633QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW I always wondered what it was like to own a solid gold bike cause apparently it's worth it's weight in it piece by piece.- 10 replies

My front fender has a hole in the very front of it. I figure there was a chrome piece mounted there that used a mount in the very front. Anyone have this or know exactly which one it was? I'd like to get on and cover the hole. This is not the hole that the factory chrome sits in and is bolted on the sides. The hole is just above the factory chrome piece.

There is another style of bracket that is not the hockey stick looking one. It is just angles. I guess you could just do the measurements and figure out a piece but was wondering if anyone knew where the drawing for the other one was? I've seen it but can't make it come up when I search.

Hey guys, I need some parts due to unspecified reasons. There are 3 parts I need, which are: 1. left front turn signal lens 2. left side case/crash guard 3. lower left accessory lighting chrome trim which is located under the left side saddle bag. This piece has 2 red lights in it and wraps around and connects to the lower rear center piece. I don't need the lights just the chrome piece. Thanks Don H.

My 83 has a broken connector piece that goes from the rear blake light switch to the brake pedal. The piece seems to be not much more than a wire with a few coils near the pedal end. The switch will activate the brake light but with no connection to pedal no brake lights. Anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance Steve

I saw 2 ventures the other day and they both had a cable coming up from the front of the tank over the tank with an L-shaped piece of plastic that stuck under the tank bib holding the cable in place. I presume this was used to plug something in for power. Is this a factory piece or aftermarket and where can I get something like this? Yesterday I tried to repair the broken tabs on the chrome piece that fits below the windshield. I bought the speed nuts mentioned in an article. I couldn't get the chrome piece to fit after using the speed nuts so I had to take them off. I priced a new chrome piece at the Yamaha dealer and it is $115.00. I may have to get a new one as bad I hate to pay $115.00 for a peice of plastic. Anyone been successful using the speed nuts?
