  1. :sign yeah that:In the early part of the season on occasion mine will run like POOP. Seriously, Seafoam is a Godsend. It can very easily be just that if the bike has not been ridden regularly. somebody had to say it.
  2. May He give His angels charge over you. Godspeed and a safe return. And thank you.
  3. Good luck for the best possible outcome. You will be included in our prayers.
  4. Oh yeah you will. Short rear tire life.
  5. I think you were right on the money. All that pressure on the rear under acceleration has to be controlled. And when the front wheel touches down on pavement again you need added pressure to control the weight of the beast. Not an issue with 2nd Gens.
  6. Um, so basically they added an oil cooler? For just the top end? No comment. Hopefully HD will sell a lot of those new bikes. And the buyers will put a lot of good used stuff on the market I can look at.
  7. My first VR didn't cost much more than those,,,,,
  8. I quart Clear Spring (same beast, different brand) 2 liters of ginger ale, 1 quart of lemonade. Called it Spring Water. In a pinch, and if ya wanna get good and blasted, sub a pack of sweetened Kool Aid for the lemonade. But then again, I cut my teeth on Rochester's finest. A home made plum or pear "brandy" . Another family secret recipe that is gone forever.
  9. Hmmm, maybe I won't cancel my full coverage insurance after all.
  10. Oh God! How am I ever going to get that image out of my mind?
  11. That was incredible. Bunch of old buzzards like us with tears in our eyes. I'm glad something like that still gets me. Means I still understand what's important. Thank you for sharing that. And thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who serve.
  12. I will have you know that I resemble that remark. I mean resent that remark. Welcome to the madness Coffs.
  13. I have always been a proponent of back up and restore. If you ever have to do a clean install get yourself back to your own "base install" with your programs of choice and such. Then clone it. And then back up your files. P. I. T. A. but it saves time, money and aggravation. Also for Windows users you can do a LOT worse than aVast free antivirus. It's all I use on Windows boxes and have not had a serious issue, actually no issues, in years. And I may from time to time end up in ner do well web sites. Accidentally of course.
  14. Absolutely amazing. Parts of that were literally mesmerizing. Stunning visuals.
  15. :bang head:Time to put away the bike and the boat I'm afraid. Whatever will I do? Oh, yeah! Snowmobiles! And the sassinfrassin snowblower.
  16. I want it. I want it really, really bad. That is one bad @$$ machine.
  17. I just now looked out the window for the first time today. To thick to be frost. Not deep enough for a snowmobile.
  18. Um, no. Usually when I hear a phrase like that it a bad thing. Like, "Did they not tell you that chili was hot?" As I'm trying to breath.
  19. Margaret, After tyipng that I actually thought, "watch one of these hooligans save and print that to show the Missus sometime she is with me". I posted it anyway. Now she may, 1) Cuff me. 2) Cut me off 3) Or say, "Pull up a chair folks. Let me fill you in on John's little events. I have pictures." And you are right. Do ya think I would post that if she read the board? :rotf:I only act crazy.
  20. Other than my wife? Can't say I have seen one. You must be doing a bang up job.
  21. :stickpoke: I really like it here,,,,,
  22. Saved me from saying it. (about me that is)
  23. Just north of the Tug Hill here, and not looking forward to the morning.
