    I have a 2008 RSTD and have discovered if you are not careful on a hard stop it is easy to lock the rear wheel. I vaguely remembering reading somewhere that there is a type of brake pad that can lessen the chance of the rear wheel locking. Does anyone have any information on these pads? Thanks, Mike

    I have a 2008 Royal Star Tour Deluxe that last summer only drove 700 miles after changing the oil and filter in April of last year. My question is that I always change my oil and filter, but do you think it is necessary to change the filter this time after a small amount of driving. If I left the current oil filter on how much oil would I have to add? I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks, Mike

    I owned a 1999 Valkyie Interstate for 9 years and it was a great bike and totally bullet proof. I sold it three years ago and bought a 2008 RSTD, because I no longer wanted the weight of the fairing. It essentially is a Goldwing without all of the plastic. Honda stopped production due to low sales. The RSTD has also been totally reliable and a joy to drive.

    I have a 2008 RSTD and it seems like the bike is going slower than the reading on the speedometer. It is most noticeable at highway speeds of 55, 60, 65, 70, and I'm guessing it is off 3 to 5 miles per hour too high. Has anyone run some tests to show the speed of the bike?

    Instead of trying to fit a trunk to my RSTD, I am interested in finding luggage that can create similar capacity to a Venture trunk and be attached the rear factory accessory luggage rack and the passenger sissy bar. Any real life experience with this type of product or suggestions would be appreciated. Mike
