If Tn does do away with the helmet law you could probably rest assured that the NC HP would be lurking at the boarder to get them some easy money. I sort of chuckle everytime I go south thru Ga. You have to wear a helmet in Ga and not Fl. Folks will ride to the "welcome to Fl" sign and stop on the side of the road with traffic feet away so they can take off thier helmets. Why? I have no idea, they could wait about 10 min or so and be either at a rest area or an exit. Fl is one of the staes the for somereason repeiled the law in like the 80's I guess. I was out of the state in the military back then.

Need to try some on my small engines like generator and pressure washer that dont get used a whole lot. I try to run the carb dry before I put them away. but 8 out of 10 times I end up pulling the carb apart before I can get them to run. As Phoo says "oh bother"

If a full size nut wont go behind there try a "half high" nut. Or make one. Either grind a nut in about half thickness or put one in a vise or something and file it down. Then lock tite it -

Sorry if it seemed I was cutting on the big box store types. But even Best Buy and the like are simular. If you want to know about the next best super widgit to come along, the kid there can tell you about it. Its just how things have evolved so to speak, but the customer service and care we older more experienced folks are use to are probably gone. Next fun thing to do is let them get your stuff all rung up on the computer, hand them say a $20 for $16.47 then hand them the .02c. SMoke will probably come rolling out of their ears.

Soory about that Cycle. I usualy go to Home Depot because its on this side of the highway and easier for me to get to. There it is in the electrical section by zip ties and the like. I have a couple guys I have delt with at HD that normaly steer me right. But like someone said they are over 40. I noticed the same kind of thing years ago at the chain parts stores. Kid asks what do you need? I tell him a fuel pump for a 36 Dodge legends car.He aint listening, types in 36 dodge what size engine? 1200cc Thata aint listed 6cyl or V-8? Nope 4cyl They dont show that listing. I know that the, fuel pump I need is a XYZ123 I get-Deer in headlight look.

Kind of a sharp color. Looks sort of neat without the trunk, if there was a good way to finish it off.

Harley exhaust Modification

I went cheap. Not totaly convinced I'm going to leave them on. So I am currently using a stainless steel hose clamp from local hardware store (HD or Lowes) and 1" P or adel clamp. I think its a 1/4" bolt that goes into the mount tab. I shortened one up because they aere all to long, needs to be just under a half inch I think. P clamp goes around the saddlebag brackets and bolts right up to mufflers. I have actually polished the clamps so much they look like chrome. I also used a piece of rubber to sort of space up the difference between the P clamp and the bar. Seems 3/4" is to small and the 1 inch is a tad to big. A couple wraps of electrical tape would do it too. But I had the hose, actually its only like half around the bar. -
Well thanks for my fill of snow. Thats why I moved south. The Ural isnt that the chech remake of the 1950's BMW?

This thread got me to thinking about my insurance. Its due in Apr. So I went to the markle site was like $800, Progressive was 600+ geico I think was 10 bucks more than what I pay no, pretty close to current anyways. And dairyland.........over $900+ a year. All for same coverage I have now. 250 deductable 100/300 on me and passneger and underinsured motorest. That is one of the biggest expense here. Got all these folks driving with no insurance, out of state tags and driving POS. So what do they care?

You can come to Florida. You can only ride about 300 days a year though, no state income tax here either. But we got lots of Canadians Nov thru Apr so it will sort of seem lik Mi.

As mentioned the US 1 south of Homestead is the only road down the Keys. It has alot of 2 lane sections and gets clogged with RV's and the sort so you might figure 35-40 mph if your lucky. There also allways seems to be construction going somewhere on that road. Check the Fla DOT site.

Hmm cant belive the lawers aint in on this deal. You pay into a fund that you can in no way ever recoup any money? Somehow thats wrong, charging for a service not rendered or provided. I have Foremost thru AARP right now. 2yr ago I had Geico and the rates went up enough it made me mad, so I went shopping. It seems anymore it dont matter about loyality. I end up changing every couple years because it saves me money. Lucky for me I have not had to use their services yet. Hope I never have to.

but if its a "legit" best of..... alblum from say RCA or whomever it should be the same as the orginal alblum. That is strange. I need to redo my MP3's I have. Some play loud, some you can baerly hear and some play and all of a sudden quit and go to next song. I read somewhere what I needed to do, but it involved completly re-recoding everything. A task I have not felt like doing.
