  1. After all the noise an E3 rear made on the back of my scoot I didn't want one up front.
  2. I carry one of those kits in my saddle bag, where did you find yours?
  3. And he still hasn't said anything we could comprehend :rotfl:
  4. Offer to pay their fuel bill, then see if their answer changes
  5. Next step would be to pressurize the cooling system and see if you can force water into the suspect cylinder and watch for a pressure drop, you can rent a bore scope at an auto parts store to see inside the cylinder. Did you check the head and cylinder mating surfaces for flatness before reassembling?
  6. Are you sure what you are seeing is steam and not burning oil? Hold a paper coffee filter over the smoking pipe and let it collect some residue and see if it smell/tastes like oil or anti freeze. Prarriehammer could be correct , but I don't think that's it. As he said you'd have coolant in the oil But you say it's smoking so that say's what ever it is is being burnt. Is your motor oil milky? Did you have the head checked for cracks?
  7. You didn't think he'd pass up a chance to ride another bike, did you?
  8. Nice looking Trees , now let us see THE REST OF THE TRIKE !
  9. Yep, that's a Hannigan Steer-Lite, it's the newer style trees, if you compare it to mine there are subtle differences but it is a raked tree. As has been said already, you could just not be used to the difference between bike & trike, or it's possible your front tire is under-inflated, neck bearing too tight, rear shocks set too soft, also possible but not likely is that the rear alignment is not set correct. Could be one or a combination of the above. That 404 could be part of the problem. Thats what ours had at first, I switched to a Michelin CommanderII and it really helped .
  10. Great news. Next step should be the CEO
  11. Could be that your phone is saving the picture file as something other than a standard picture format like Jpeg or GIF. Try saving the pics to your computer then uploading to the site or save to an online image hosting service.
  12. That snow is no problem for you John, while the trike body is off we fit some nice snow tires on there for you.
  13. Gary...Gary...Gary, You just ain't right boy Would be interesting though the first time you missed a pedal in a panic stop
  14. Chrome bolt button caps are hiding those now.
  15. Get off the computer and get back to work on John's aux fuel tank ! You don't have time for any jaw jacking
  16. Run a Michelin CommanderII rear tire mounted in reverse rotation up front, made a good difference on our's for cornering. Much less feeling of the tire sliding to the outside in high speed turns, has good wet traction too. 41 psi is what I run in the front tire.
  17. Here are a couple pictures, the first two is of the Hannigan trees and the last two is the stock Yamaha trees. The Flanders bars give you a little wider grip and a few inches of pulback. I have a picture of them on my wifes RSV Hannigan, as soon as I find the pic I'll post it. In the last pic you can see our bikes side by side, the trike has the rake kit and Flanders, the 2 wheeler is stock trees and bars with Barons risers.
  18. At least your Ice Cream won't melt !
  19. Welcome to the site. Get ahold of Hannigan and get their easy-steer trees, they are a 6* rake and make handling much easier. You may also want to consider upgrading the handlebars to a set of Flanders bars. When I installed the Flanders bars it was like adding power steering.
  20. Randy, we're sorry for your loss, Jeannie and I send our condolences to you and the whole family. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
  21. Have you done any testing yet? Looks nice
  22. need some tapes?
  23. The fire wall with the V.I.N. intact is what's needed. They can graft a new front & rear end onto it and still claim it to be what it started life as. There are thousands upon thousands of old high $$$$$$$$$ muscle cars that were only a firewall when found in the scrap yards. It's the VIN that makes a car what it is.
  24. That wheel looks great! I'd be interested. Is the wheel sealed in any way after polishing ?
