  1. The lakes are getting depleted of oxygen and the fish kill could be bad this year Let's hope not.
  2. I too have been using it some, it is fast and easy to use. Much better than IE, which I have not used in years.
  3. Great video. Excellent choice of tunes too.
  4. I made a bracket that sits on top of the cassette player inside the fairing . Works good.
  5. You MUST oil the K&N filters, they will not do their job if you don't. The dirtier they get (to a point) the better they filter.
  6. Steve, That sounds like a better possibility of the cause. I do recall reading about what you are saying. That or a head gasket are more likely than what I suggested.
  7. Hard to say if it could be seen, if there is a crack, it may open under heat or pressure. There are methods for finding cracks that are not visible.
  8. Always best to start with the easy to get at things first.
  9. I may be way off base here, but couldn't the Breather (twinkie) cause oil and coolant to mix either from a failed gasket or an internal crack ? The only place in the manual that I could find that reference's the breather is on page 4-23
  10. Click the youtube link and help them get the 5 million likes.
  11. I was told a used helmet is the price of admission to Freebird's MD.

  15. I take them to our cabin in northern Michigan, a neighbor up there is a licensed demolition contractor, we launch them with dynamite
  16. Larry, you have the new style shocks, your shock adjustment ring is threaded and is turned by hand, our older conversions have the stepped style adjusters and a spanner wrench is needed to turn them. 1st pic is my shock (old style) 2nd pic is Larry's shock (new style)
  17. 4000 is a good turnout . We have a bar/ restaurant near here that hosts a weekly car cruise, many Sundays you'll see500-1500 cars and bikes . Check it out http://www.bakersofmilford.com Cars, trucks and bikes
  18. I have also seen them measured from the top edge of the shield straight down vertically to the top of the tank. The way they are measured varies by manufacturer.
  19. Probably no air in the shock, put some in and try again. You should get a progressive suspension air pump , it has a gauge and is necessary for putting air in the front forks (7PSI max) in forks. 20. I opened the fairing and put a splitter in the line behind the cassette and plugged in the output there. Doing it that way you don't have to have the cassette door open all the time.
