Base camp sucks, difficult to use. I use MapQuest a lot for route planning. I usually bring up shortest route, avoiding freeways or whatever, then zoom in and look at the surrounding roads, drag the route to the path I want to take, save it, then upload to the 765, It always has sent my chosen route to my GPS.

For route Planning use either Google maps or mapquest . You can drag the route you want to take then upload it to the 765. Going to install my Buddy Rich cable tomorrow . I have aanother 765 that Im going to put on ebay unless someone here wants it. I'll take 80 for it,including shipping . It's a suzuki issued 765T . It has a safe mode that limits imput while in motion. Comes with cradle suction mount and traffic receiver.

I have seen those adapters,do they hold the gps firmly in position ? I went with the ram mount because I was tired of having to reposition the gps after every bump.

For anyone with the 765T and Ram Mount. Has anyone found a way to mount the garmin cradle into the ram cradle so I do not have to unplug the cord everytime I want to remove the GPS.

A recent batch of cables he made had a bad transformer, you could possibly have gotten one of them. Check with Buddy, he should know if you have one of them.

Like the others have said, it's money well spent. Leo, On our steer lite there are holes in the top tree that DO allow us to use the stock steering lock. Our kit was installed in late 2010.

Indeed it is Larry. First thing I noticed was the wind blasting me. After being behind a wind screen for so long now, I don't think i'd like being without one, especially on a long ride, even more so when the weather turns nasty.. The can am is a bit short on room for 2 up LD riding. I much prefer a conventional trike over the inverse design of the can am.
