I have two garages. The one we park the season car. That's the car we are driving for the present season, summer, along with the Road Star (mine) and RSV (ours). In the back garage (shop) which is 40X60 and barely big enough for the truck, car trailer w/car inside, two more Mustangs and the off season car. Plus a ton of storage for the stuff, I don't have junk. The shop has two 10X10 overhead doors and two 12X14 rollup doors. I wouldn't have it any other way. A picture would be good. Are those doors all along the 60' side?

That is the number that I have always read for decks. Should be the same for concrete I would think.

Can you connect your Mac to your PC with a USB chord and then just drag and drop your photos into your picture folder. Alternately, you can just drag and drop your photos onto a memory stick (Maybe a couple of memory sticks in your case) and then transfer them from the memory stick to your PC. Or if your PC has a SIM card slot just take your memory card from your camera and put it into your PC. You can then drag and drop from there. Cliff

"I guess I'll never understand the mentality that caused one to feel justified in destroying some strangers life over a sporting event." Somebody got killed?? Hadn't heard that but, if so, that is sad and bizarre. It has become common these days for hooded hooligans dressed in black from other places to attend major events just to cause mayhem: Like the soccer hooligans in England who follow their teams around Europe just to create a brawl at every game. It is their form of entertainment. Their tactic is to infiltrate the assembled crowds and instigate. Given the amount of booze that flows at these events it is no surprise that some of the other senseless youths join in. They also attended the G8/G20 in Toronto and caused all sorts of problems for the ploice there. Anyway, congratulations to the Bruins. They were definitely the dominant team throughout. When Vancouver beat them they only won by one goal. But, never forget that Boston had a distinct advantage: 14 of their players are Canadians! Vancouver's hopes were pinned on a couple of Swedes and a goal tender (also a Vezina trophy contender by the way) who wilted under pressure. But hey, I'm happy for Boston, particularly their loyal fans. Cheers all. See you next year for the rematch Boston.....................I hope. Cliff

I've been a regular at Americade for years but the weather is always iffy there at this time of year. It was so bad in 06 that I went down on Sunday and came home on Tuesday: Should have stayed home since I totalled my bike (and myself) on the way home that year with a rear tire blow out. I missed this year and wouldn't you know it, the weather was perfect. I'm already looking forward to next year.

Yeah, I forgot about the first on first off part. That is a great feature because it gets the bikes out in front of all of the ferry traffic with a clear road in front. Looks like Murphy's law was at work for your trip Rick but I would not let that deter me from taking that trip. A little pre-planning may help to avoid accomodation availability problems. We ran into Bathtub week in Nanaimo when I was transferred there in the 70s. Fortunately we were able to find suitable accomodations. Unfortunately, I will be flying over you in July. I am going direct to Comox to visit our son for a week. During that week I will be visiting my sister and some friends in Powell River and some friends in Nanaimo. It will be a very busy week so, regretably, I will not have time for other things but thanks for your interest. On the next trip I will make time for Vancouver (my home town) but I have no idea when that will be. By the way, my nephew (Rick) lives in Burnaby, when he is not someplace else in the world which is most of the time. But, he is not sophisticated like us: He rides a Harley......!

Thanks for the fill in SilverT. I have not been "home" since the highway was built. I thought it was a separate highway from the old one. I did not know about the special fare for the circle route since I have never taken all four ferrys at the same time. It might come in handy for me when I am out there next month. I will check it out on line. I may just do that trip for the fun of it.

Here is another option if it is not too late. It involves four ferrys which will be a mini cruise of the West Coast. Take the ferry from Tswassen over to Shwartz Bay. Then ride up the Island to Comox, about 150 miles. Maybe stay over night in Courtenay. Then take the ferry across to Powell River and ride down the Sunshine Coast. That involves taking another ferry from Saltry Bay to Earl's Cove and another ferry from Gibson's Landing to Horseshoe Bay. From there you can ride up to Whistler on the coast highway and come back to Vancouver on the Sea to Sky highway, the upper levels highway and back across the Lion's Gate Bridge through Stanley Park. Stanley Park is also worth a visit while you are in Vancouver. (Believe it or not, the Lions Gate Bridge was built by the Guinness Family to develop the north shore many years ago.) If you have some time in Vancouver, Queen Elizabeth Park and the Van Deusen Gardens are also worthwhile seeing as are Butchart Gardens in Victoria. Cliff

If you really want to quit you will make it. Like, I know that you know that it is killing you slowly but surely. Do you really want to deliberately shorten your life? But, I doubt that money will have anything to do with quitting: At least it sure never worked for me. Importantly, I think you have to get away from thinking about how difficult it is. You need to concentrate on how good it is for you to quit and you will to beat the devil nicotine. Concentrate on thinks like: How much better you will feel; How much better you smell; How much better your house, car and clothes smell; Food tastes better; Your sense of smell improves; Being a winner and not a loser; Increased life expectancy; Nice clear lungs (in time); No more coughing, hacking and wheezing; No more disgusting smelly ash trays around the house; No more nocotine-stained fingers; Greatly reduced risk of cancer; Sleeping better; More stamina; Looking healthier; No more huffing and puffing when you climb stairs, walk fast or run, etc. Most importantly, there is nothing good about smoking: It is poison. Why would anyone want to poison themselves? But, I empathize with you. It aint easy, although Mark Twain said it was: He quit a thousand times! Keep at it and you will eventually succeed. Thanks for your post Earl. My 84 has been leaking coolant recently and I suspected it was coming from the thermostat housing. Now, thanks to you, I know why and what I need to do to fix the problem. Very helpful. Thanks again. Cliff -

:stickpoke:This happened to me on both my 93 and my 84. Both times it was during cool temps. Once I rode both bikes after the fact, the seal re-sealed itself and never leaked again. As someone said earlier it is just the nature of the beast. Don't worry, be happy. Cliff
