  3. Welcome to the V-strom crew. I know that there are several of us here who ride them now. I know that this coming summer it is the bike that I'll be traveling on for sure. Got mine last fall and have been adding stuff ever since. Just got me seat back from Rick. Can't wait to try that out. Mine's a K-9 650 set up for traveling.

  5. The silver paint really brightened it up. Looks great. Don't know why puc called it a RSTD though.
  6. A good tool and die shop should have a hardness tester. My guess is that NO links are heat treated. However you can buy 1/4 hard, 1/2 hard, etc - metal.
