  1. BillM Lives in Santa Clarita If I remember right. Check with him.
  2. Also check the air plumbing. Be sure everything is connected and tight.
  3. Understandable. But better than the cemetery five times in two years in some ways I guess. It seems it rains it pours then it clears for a few years.
  4. I read it several times a day. Just trying to keep my feet outta my mouth...
  5. Hey Carlos, 42 for red. What I have is Transparent Red. Same as a red tail light lens. Should match the bike fine.
  6. I see one from Granada Hills ? That must be yours ?
  7. After three or four years you may have to replace the velcro or the blocks. Usually what happens is the blocks get compressed and no long apply upward pressure on the knee blockers. Now the problem I had was getting the old Velcro off. I use the industrial stuff and after that long its really stuck. Heating it up with a hair dryer will help removal For me to send you some Velcro it would run 5 bucks. You can also just stop by HD or Lowes and pick some up if you wanted too have extra.
  8. Hey Bob, You can paypal me $38 to buddyrich@ebmc.com. Just note in the paypal if you want Black or Smoke. I will be making up some more this weekend. IF you want to mail a check or cash PM me and I'll send you my address.
  9. Don't know. I mounted mine on the bike by the left side battery side cover. That way everything hangs where its easiest to get at. If its a variable resistor for temperature control it could easily heat up though.
  10. Bob, Biggest thing I can think of if you cut a hole is that this is gonna happen. Sooner or later your gonna get off the bike and forget to unplug. As you walk away you may tear that hole bigger. I had my setup so that the cord came like it normally does. But I put a wire tie tab on the underside of the seat and used velco to attach it to the bike. When ever I got off and forgot to unplug it tugged and released from the tank, but it was enough time for me to stop (being reminded by the tug) and unplug .
  11. About the same strength. But we just used grape juice. Called it Purple Jesus If I remember right.
  12. The problem with SSD's is the size and they can end up in "Panic Mode" This is a state where the drive is basically DOA. The Bios won't even read it. Stay away from OCZ on these. As for speed. You raid these in a 0 array and the things flat out fly. Have to agree with you Lil Beaver on the WD and Seagates. I lost two seagates in a NAS this week. Makes me wonder if the bugs (designers) that WD had moved to seagate the last couple of years. Yea, Its not if, its when. That's why I always use 10, 50 or 60 raid arrays in everything I setup these days.
  13. Good old Everclear... Was at many a poker game in the USAF...Jeeze I lost a lot of money and won a lot of money those nights..There was another one... Can't think of the name of it ?
  14. I won't buy WD's had way too many failures. If your gonna get seagates then get the constellations ( server rated). The problem with a lot of today's drives is they have gotten cheaper and can't take being left on 24x7x365. IBM and Hitachi's I don't have problems with. If your gonna use it for your backup get server rated drives. They cost more but are worth it. Then get a usb housing and stuff it in that...
  15. I make a cable that plugs into your Mic in on the Garmin or its mount. If your garmin has that then my cable will allow you to just answer the phone and start talking. As long as you have a headset installed that is. Which most of us do. But I think a few have already endorsed my cable in the other thread. .
  16. I won't buy any LED lights unless it states what the Lumens are. That is the best way to tell brightness. If I was putting them on the front I would want Spots or driving. Don't want to blind oncoming traffic with 3000 lumen of flood light.
  17. Hey Brad. use Plumbers Goop.. used it on several patches. They are still on
  18. Making up a batch this weekend. If you have not tried these on your second gen you really should. Extends your riding season . The coldest part of a second gen is the knees. These blow the rain off also.
  19. Dan is in WV...They fix everything with bailing wire. In KY we used Bailing wire and TAPE..duh...
  20. I think the key here, as with anything on a bike, is if you don't fell it's safe or not something you want to do then don't. If you do then go ahead. Just as many people here would never think of jumping a bike 50' thru the air landing on the rear wheel some of us enjoy that sort of thing. To each his own and never ride beyond your abilities, senses or feelings no matter what the law says or doesn't say.
  21. Same here Brad. We had dish. Went to Direct and as soon as the contract was up switched back to Dish.. I hate Direct TV... No cable out here either... Even though as subdivision 2 miles up the road has it we are not close enough here for them to waste their time.. Jeeze at 140 a month I don't see how its wasting their time..
  22. uh,,Yea,,, Whenever Owl was in it,it was tilted way over to the left....:rotf:
  23. Yep, We know old prison guards got no heart so how could that be a problem..
  24. :bang head: I have never had a first gen just walk away from me. I can stay up with them. You just gotta know how to ride... :moon:
  25. Yea, its as old as you are... and failing apart just as fast... Us young fellows feel for you.
