  1. I would love to answer your question but to be honest, I just don't know. Haven't look at the two of them close enough to offer an answer. Sorry.
  2. No problem folks. It was my fault about not explaining it in advance. I didn't know they were going to take effect as quickly as they did. WHAT SPIDERS? Don't you be stirring up new problems now.
  3. You are a talented person my friend. It's really looking good. Much more than I would ever attempt.
  4. No, you can just sent it straight to him at pmelah@hotmail.com
  5. It seems that too many people have a problem with them so I got rid of them. Sorry about that. I didn't think it was a big deal because I see them all the time. Even big sites like Fox News and most other news sites have them.
  6. They should be gone now.
  7. OK...it is not Malware and does not hurt you in any way. Just a way to perhaps make a few bucks but I can see that many of you don't like it so I'll get rid of them now. Sorry about that.
  8. Yes folks. It's something new that I added. It is legit and is not a virus of any kind. If it bothers a lot of people, I'll get rid of it but basically what it does is watches for key words and if, for example, somebody posts an item that is available from a certain set of vendors such as Amazon, it will link that item to a place that you can purchase it. If somebody uses it and purchases an item, the site gets a small commission on it. I don't think it will amount to much but it was free to try so I decided to give it a shot.
  9. I've got a tool but unfortunately, no shim kit. I would be glad to loan out the tool though.
  10. Folks, I agree with everything that is being said about the affect of ozone on rubber and etc. but I am still convinced that Avon has, or had, a problem. Over the years, my bike has sat through the winter in the same exact place with no differences from year to year and my last set of Avons were the only ones that have ever cracked like that. I've had Dunlop and Michelins before and none of them cracked. I took a chance and replaced them with another set of Avons and so far, they seem to be doing OK. Haven't looked at them closely though. Will do so before the riding season starts. I really like the Avons but if this set cracks, it will be my last ones.
  11. I don't remember for sure but I'm thinking around 6500. I've raised mine with the Dyna 3000 but I think that is what it was.
  12. I have tried several times to duplicate this problem and just can't get it to happen. I've tried it with IE and IE 64bit. I've tried it with ISpell installed and with it not installed. I've tried spell checking and not spell checking. I've tried back spacing several times slowing, very fast and holding the back space key down and deleting my entire text. I even tried holding the computer upside down and under a running faucet and just can't duplicate this issue. I'll continue to pay attention to it and see if I can get it to happen.
  13. I think you are seeing that many of us WOULD indeed buy another RSV but many of us have proved it over the years. A lot of us have owned several Ventures over the years.
  14. Do not.
  15. I see that they have a "Spyder" also. http://juluonetwork.manufacturer.globalsources.com/si/6008845344137/pdtl/Motorcycle-trike/1053380291/Motorcycle.htm I am very doubtful about this entire thing. There is more to it than meets the eye. On the other hand, I was meeting with a customer this week, a sign company, and am quoting him for new signage for a Chinese motorcycle company that is getting ready to launch a dealer network in the USA. They are looking for signage for 200 franchises to start. Not sure what size bikes they are selling but I know that the line includes motorcycles, scooters and ATVs. I know that there have been more and more Chinese bikes on the market but this is the first I've seen of a decent sized dealer network.
  16. Thanks, I don't use IE but have it installed for checking these type things. I use Firefox and have never had it happen. Plus, Firefox spell checks as I type so ISpell is not needed. I'll check it with IE and see if I can make it happen.
  17. I agree that it is probably the fuel pump...but it could actually be as simple as the fuel filter if you haven't changed it in a while. I had a Ford truck that did almost the same thing and it was the filter. It seems that it would run OK for a few minutes, long enough to get to the store or something and that was likely due to the gas that was already in the fuel lines and etc. past the filter. Then the filter would plug enough to prevent gas from getting through but after sitting a few minutes, I guess the gunk in the filter would soften or something and allow enough gas to get flowing that it would run again. Changed the fuel filter and never had another problem. Maybe a long shot but worth checking.
  18. I just typed this message and then backspaced and started over and didn't lose anything. I'll continue to try and duplicate it and then see if I can find out what is causing it.
  19. That looks exactly like the one that I posted but about $500.00 cheaper. Looks like the one I had years ago and I really liked it. Very easy to load and pulled well.
  20. Well, I found the one in my picture here: http://www.naautoequipment.com/motorcycle-lifts.html#MC2000T Price is $2195.00. A bit steep considering the only time I've trailered my bike was when I moved to Ohio. Still, would be nice to have it around.
  21. I looked all over the place for a trailer like I just described and never found one. Just now I did a search and found one in 2 minutes. Now to find out how much the cost and where they are sold.
  22. Years ago when living in Dallas, I bought an '88 Venture and it came with a trailer that I really liked. The bed lowered to the ground like the razor but the big difference was that you could leave it coupled to your vehicle when you lowered it, loaded it and then raised it back up. I understand that they went out of production years ago and I've never seen another like it. I really screwed up when I let it go. I had sold a Honda Shadow Ace and agreed to meet the buyer in Little Rock. When I got there, we were having a hard time finding a place to load the Shadow onto his truck and he asked me what I would take for the trailer. Like the dummy that I am, I gave him a price and he bought it on the spot. I've always regretted letting it go and if I ever run across another one, I will try to buy it. Wish I had some pictures of it.
  23. Rick Butler has a great little portable type trailer that he uses. I'll send him a link to this thread for his comments and maybe he has some pictures.
  24. Lewis, did you intend to put $500.00 shipping on it?
  25. Would a '73 work? http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/3532388448.html 1970 http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/mcy/3575897118.html 1971 http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/mcy/3538108345.html 1974 but not stock http://stlouis.craigslist.org/mcy/3581743478.html 1974 Nice http://hartford.craigslist.org/mcy/3506568485.html 1974 Nice http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/mcy/3595621251.html I could go on and on but try http:/www.searchtempest.com to search Craigslist nationwide.
