  1. I feel honored to be able to help a friend. As for the occasional squabble around here, heck that happens in all families.
  2. You have some type of Malware or something on your computer. There are no surveys or anything of that nature associated with this site.
  3. I've watched this thread for many days now and have resisted saying anything HOPING that it would stop but I guess it's not going to. I have no problem with folks having differing opinions on this practice but WHY the need for all the name calling. If it is legal and you feel that you can do it safely and desire to do so, then do it. If you feel that it cannot be done safely then don't do it. There is no reason to call people who have a different opinion that you names though.
  4. No you couldn't.
  5. I have the Sonics and really like them. Had Progressives on a first gen but not on the RSV.
  6. This poll is to gauge the preference of the members attending the International Rally. The planners are doing a great job and putting this even together and have been working hard on putting together some fun and interesting rides. A question has come up that we would like your feedback on. How many miles do most of you like the daily rides to be? I will list some choices below. I know that a lot of folks travel a good distance to get to the rally and prefer to take shorter rides and simply do more visiting with the other members. Others like to RIDE RIDE RIDE...so your input is appreciated.
  7. I've only purchased from them a couple of times and it was small items but I was 100% satisfied with them.
  8. I wonder if it was boat.net. A lot of us have purchased from them in the past.
  9. Geezzeee guys....I appreciate it but you are a week or so early. I refuse to be a year old until the proper time.
  10. That would be easy enough to do but I've always resisted it. I have every intention of this site being around for many years but one just never knows. I may only have a day or two left on this world and not even know it.
  11. Twisted my back a bit but it will be OK in a day or two. HA....she says that I'm one of a kind. Just don't know how she means that. Linoleum over wood sub floor but it DID leave a nice mark. It's certainly not coming back up. It never made it to the basement. It fell from second floor to first floor. Basement was next. The next move was into the trash bin that I rolled up to the front door.
  12. Some assembly required. So it seemed simple enough. I have...er...had...a good old Sony 27" tube type TV. I was simply going to move it from the second floor to the basement. Lost my footing and sort of dropped it from the top of the landing. I tell you what...by the time it got to the bottom..I have NEVER seen anything break into so many different pieces. It was a thing to behold. I think with a little duct tape...some super glue...screws and staples...it would be as good as new. Well...actually the tube broke too but hey....what the heck.
  13. I don't know what Avast is finding but I have rescanned the file and it showed no viruses.
  14. Creole, Save the money and buy the shock for the later models. They are the same except that the newer ones have a vent line that is supposed to help them last longer. Don't know if it really does or not but everything else is the same. Don
  15. I found what I THINK is the screen saver that you are talking about. I made it several years ago. I have uploaded it again and you can download it here. http://www.venturerider.org/saver/VR2.exe
  16. I agree that it may be time for a new screen saver if enough people are interested. As for copying the one that you have, it should be a file named VR.exe or maybe VR2.exe. You just need to copy that file from one computer to the other.
  17. LOL...well...if anybody WANTS 42, I have it covered.
  18. Hey, we have several Harley riders here now. We are glad you have joined us.
  19. Just let me know if you need the tool. I have no problem sending it out.
  20. I saw it Eddie...I just ignored your trouble making butt. By the way, there IS an automatic resizer here, it just doesn't work very well. It does fine if the pictures are just slightly oversize but not if they are HUGE.
  21. Are you SURE? http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-Yamaha-Royal-Star-Venture-Driveshaft-XVZ1300-1300-Midnight-/110944320778?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19d4cbfd0a&vxp=mtr
  22. They have heat seal backing so they be sewed or ironed.
  23. I have placed a order for small VentureRider patches. I am told that they will ship by March 8th. Price will remain the same. Here is the link to the ordering information for any of you who have been waiting. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=645 I will be placing orders for more bells and domed decals in the near future.
  24. Tater's sleeps with the enemy too. At least I think she does....well....don't know why she would .... but.....
  25. Don't worry...I watching VERY closely.
