  1. It's hard to say for sure without seeing it but I can't imagine it not being worth 500.00. If you can get it cheaper, that's even better.
  2. I really think that something is wrong. I would even suspect that you are running on three cylinders. I've pulled my trailer very heavily loaded at the highest altitudes in Colorado and at Interstate speeds in excess of 80 MPH and never felt a need for more power. I've since gone to the VMAX rear end and it is even better now.
  3. Yea, I zoomed in on one of the pictures in that ad and it does say Korea. That being the case, I wouldn't be scared to give them a try. There are some good automobile tires coming out of Korea.
  4. I know nothing about them. A quick search leads me to believe that they are likely manufactured in China. Did find their website. http://www.fullboretires.com/index.html
  5. I think it is a Utopia. Could be a Diamond R. They are very similar.
  6. All these fake witnesses. You KNOW I would never say such a thing.
  7. I too ran a set of the older commanders and liked them. My only complaint was that they were a bit noisy in long sweeping curves. Looking at the tread design of the Commander II, I don't expect that to be an issue. They still don't offer the Commander II in the OEM size for the front however. They make it in the 130 size which is a bit narrower than the stock 150 size. Some here actually prefer the 130 size and run it in whatever brand they use. I have personally never used the 130 so can't offer an opinion on that. We installed a 130 Commander II on a RSV at MD and it looked good. I may actually give it a try when I need tires again.
  8. Nope, haven't cracked that bottle yet. Gonna save it for a very special occasion.
  9. hmmmmm...........now I'm thinking I better go see if anybody is still in the guest house. Don't remember that little Mini Muffin leaving. OH.....the HORROR!
  10. OK folks. Now that Maintenance Day is behind me, it's time to start putting more attention on the International Rally. Our team is doing a fantastic job putting this one together and you sure don't want to miss it. Many of you have made hotel and camping reservations but far fewer have actually registered for the rally. PLEASE do so at your earliest convenience. Pre-Registration not only helps us to get a better count of how many people to expect so that the food service and etc. can be confirmed but also saves you a little money over waiting to register when you get there. Here is the thread with registration instructions. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=72568
  11. Fell asleep in my chair. Suddenly woke up and knew I had to get moving. Grabbed the half bottle of apple pie that was left over and ran outside. This is what I found? Where is everybody? Was it something I said?
  12. Good pics my friend.
  13. I still have the picture. Maybe I better put it in my van and take it with me.
  14. Steve, This is hard to read even though I already knew a little something about it. You have been a great supporter of the organization and have offered one of the most fantastic and unique products of any for our bikes. Far beyond and more important than that though, you have been a good friend for many years. I really don't know what to say except that we will keep you in our prayers and you KNOW that if three is anything at all that we can do, just let us know. You are family. Don
  15. Got two gallons of Apple Pie ready last night. First time I've ever made it but it tastes good to me. For those who may want it a bit stronger, I have another 1/2 gallon of 190 proof Everclear. By the way, I learned that you can't buy the 190 proof Everclear in Ohio. It is illegal here. Had to pick it up when I was in Indianapolis last week.
  16. There's room in the storage shed and also a small building inside the green house. Probably could get a few people in there. Greenhouse is a mess, didn't get around to cleaning it up but there is room.
  17. Raining here right now. Got all the chairs and etc. pretty much set up last night. Now the cushions are wet. Should blow over later today though but your butts may get wet sitting in the good chairs.
  18. I feel a little black cloud hovering over my head.
  19. Post it in the Links to Classifieds section. People will see it there also.
  20. It was deleted, I moved it to the appropriate forum. Classifieds posts and posts about classified ads should not be posted in the watering hole.
  21. That is correct. Please add yourselves to the map.
  22. Well, the username is Scooter Bob but his membership expired in April and he hasn't renewed so doesn't show up in the members list.
  23. NOPE....you have to bring your own beer.
  24. Oh....and I'm also making a couple of gallons of Apple Pie today myself.
  25. Yes, there will be a big pot of coffee ready to go every morning. First person up just needs to turn it on and let it brew.
