  1. Yes, I have some.
  2. Good looking bike. I actually like that color. I agree that it appears to have been lowered though. If you want to raise it back up, I think I have a set of stock links.
  3. I'm using my old headsets with the lower cables off may 2013 Harley Road Glide so I would say yes. I am hesitant because I probably haven't tried everything but it seems to work just fine.
  4. Saw a recipe for corn on the cob the other day that I plan to try. Peel off the husks, brush with ranch dressing, wrap with bacon, grill. Sounds interesting.
  5. That's pretty cool.
  6. Very cool. Are you riding it yet? Excitement must be killing you.
  7. Not very big but big enough for us. Some of you may have notice during maintenance day that my old one was falling in. So I took it out and put a new one in. Stil have a bit of work to do on it but it should do.
  8. I've thought about it also. Haven't pulled the trigger because I've seen mixed reviews on the Harbor Freight unit. Keep thinking I'll run across a good used one sooner or later.
  9. Just found Dave Barry's and yep, that was it. https://www.miamiherald.com/living/liv-columns-blogs/dave-barry/article1928847.html
  10. It is not as bad as it sounds. I've had two done twice so far. Next one is about 5 years. Preparation isn't great but I've gone through worse. One they put their stuff in the IV, I remember nothing until I wake up and it's all over. No pain at all. People make too big a deal of it I think. Funny story though. By the way, Dave Barry wrote a good one on the procedure. Very similar to that one and it actually may be the same one, just don't remember it all.
  11. A number of people have reported that it's air coming under the chrome strip. Take it off, put some weather stripping in there, and it's supposedly taken care of. I haven't tried it yet so can't verify.
  12. Unfortunately, the serial number indicates that it was built before the second gear fix. Too bad. I know that some just skip second gear but I wouldn't like that and I've gotten too old to rebuild one.
  13. I will have to take a look. I bought you could post pictures but not links. Nobody is banned for posting spam.....UNLESS....they are posting spam.
  14. WOW...YOU LIKE STARRING IN VIDEOS???? WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK IT!!!
  15. Great. Does that mean that you found the dipstick?
  16. There is a dipstick. You open the left saddlebag and it is just behind the lid on the front side. You remove it, check the oil in the tank, and put it back when done.
  17. Very nice indeed. I too love the fender tips.
  18. Yes, I got a PM from him. They are his but he told me that shipping would be more than they were worth so....I guess I have two more cups. I'll put them away and maybe he'll be back this way again at some point.
  19. How large are they after you resize them? The maximum is 1024 x 768 and no larger than 200,000 bytes.
  20. OK...somebody left a couple of travel mugs at MD. Shoot me a PM with our address and I'll send them to you.
  21. Bikes are great but the memories you are making are irreplaceable.
  22. If you go the lemon law route, be prepared for a long battle. It is effective but is not a quick solution. I have been through two lemon law cases, Once against Chrysler for a Dodge Truck and one against Yamaha. Both a long time ago. I was successful in both cases but both took a year or longer. One was in Texas and the other in Ohio. It's a great resource but you have to be in it for the long haul. It would have been easier to just sell buy vehicles and replace them but I am too stubborn for that. It turned into a personal matter for me;.
  23. Really enjoying watching this build. I can remember when I would have enjoyed doing it. Now I just enjoy watching YOU do it.
  24. Most Briggs riding mower engines have an automatic compression relief that works off the flywheel. It holds the, intake valve I think, open just a bit to relieve compression when starting. Valve clearance has to be set properly for it to work as it should. How long since you have adjusted the valves? I used to check and adjust mine about once per season. I say "used to" because my current mower has a different engine
  25. Yea, I kept waiting for Jay Leno to pull in with his motorhome. Oh well, just more proof that this group has become more about lifelong friends than just the bikes. I'm happy that people get here regardless of how they do it.
