  1. Sounds like a nice ride up from Northern VA, count me in if the weather is nice.
  2. I was there on Saturday the 12th. Stopped at BattleField HD for a look around then headed back down 15 to the fair grounds. Saw a white RSTD at the show. It was parked next to a vendor selling tour luggage but didn't see any other Royal Stars on the road. I'll be up in Carlisle on Saturday the 26th, 07 Galaxy Blue/Raven RSV.
  3. Last Saturday I rode up to the bike week in Gettysburg PA from Herndon VA. Easy on the throttle and on cruise a lot of the time and close to the posted speed limits. When I got home I had 177 miles on the OD (non adjusted) and when I filled up it only took 3.67 gallons and the low fuel light never came on. I do have the holes punched in the filler neck and filled up to the same level in the tank before I left. What ever the gas mileage really is it sure is nice to be able to ride that far and not have to stop for gas along the way. On my previous bike a Honda Shadow Spirit 750 I was always frantically looking for a gas station at a little over 115 miles. Can't say enough about how nice my 07 RSV is!
  4. Hey Beer, Met you at the Virginia meet and eat in April. I have both the heated vest and gloves from WingStuff. They had the best prices I found compared to the other brands. The vest puts out so much heat even on the low setting that most of the time I end up turning it off. I couldn't believe how much heat that thing puts out. At first I didn't know if I was going to like the controler for the gloves since it is on top of the left glove but found it really easy to adjust while riding. I have a volt meter mounted on my bike and with the vest/gloves and MP3 going I still showed one green bar and I didn't seem to have any electrical problems using them both. I don't know if it is just me but I didn't get the same amount of heat in the gloves and usually always kept them on the high setting the entire ride. That might just be my old tough hands.
