  1. I took an old stock windshield and cut it down to about 6" wanted that Street Glide look. Spent about 2 hrs taping it off, cutting it down and sanding the edge. Put it on the bike and went up the highway about 1 mile at 60mph. Came rite back home and took it rite off. Buffeting was brutal, talk about a "bad hair day":Bunny2: Craig
  2. Hard to tell what we actually got here in Pa. It was blowing around so hard we got about 2' on my deck but only about a 18" on the driveway. Its gonna be a mess for awhile around here! Craig
  3. Hey nice Jeep, hard to believe Josh didnt want the orange one?? Craig
  4. Guess we are supposed to get hit pretty good, hope they are wrong!! Just in case I loaded up the firewood, fired up the snoblower and filled up the bathtub. Ready!!!! Craig

  7. I have never heard of John, but after reading the article, it sounds like he had a serious "need for speed" He had quite a few amazing accomplishments on both 2 and 4 wheels. RIP John... Craig
  8. I have been kicking around the idea of a toyhauler for too long? My idea was to buy an 8x20 rear ramp door trailer and fit the interior out to my design. That way you are starting out with a stronger frame design, 3/4" flooring, the built in ramp door and lower load angle. After looking at the pros and cons I decided to look for a good deal on a used toyhauler? and I am still looking. If you wanted to build one to suit you, I think I would start with a rear ramp car hauler. Just my 2cents. Good Luck Craig
  9. Hey, we are interested!! So please follow up with any updates. Somebody else is gonna have this same problem down the line and you mite be able to save them alot of grief. Keep at it, you will figure it out!! Craig
  10. Very sorry for your loss, pretty sure we had dinner with Ricky at last years MD. Sat with him a Quaker Steak, enjoyed a nice talk with him. He will be missed... RIP Rick Craig
  11. Sorry to hear about your battle with cancer, but it sounds like you are holding your own. Will keep you in our thoughts, keep up the good fight and vent on here whenever you feel the need. All the best!! Craig
  12. Thanks for the offer, but my tenting days are long gone. Craig
  13. Funny you bring up BikeWeek. I was just saying to my wife this is the first time I would even consider riding my bike to Florida from Pa. at this time of year. It was 75 here yesterday and 70 today. This would be the year to do it!! How far away from Daytona would I have to travel to find a hotel room if I didnt have a reservation? Craig
  14. Sorry Dan, she was way too young... Craig
  15. You can split the fairing, look for connection wire to back of aux. port. There is a connector you can take apart, buy a "y" connector and plug it in, then plug a 3ft extension wire into open leg of "y" run that wire out to handlebars and plug into your ipod. You wont need to use the aux socket on tape player and you can keep that door closed. Total cost about 7bucks. About 1hr to complete. You can tape connections inside fairing to keep them good and tight. Good time to clean and dielectric grease all radio connections while you have it apart. Craig
  16. I have a Denon recvr for at least 15yrs, has never been in a shop, and I crank her up pretty good on a regular basis. It actually replaced the Yamaha recvr I had. I was really into that stuff years ago and I still prefer the old stuff. I have a Sony ES9000 DVd player that has never been in a shop and I still think it does a better job then my bluray setup. My vote goes to the Denon. Craig
  17. Nah you shouldnt have stayed home, Its an adventure, enjoy it! Hope the stomach starts feeling better and you get to enjoy a nice "ride" soon:thumbsup2: Craig
  18. You and your family are in our thoughts Dan...Hopefully she survives the shooting. Craig
  19. So very sorry to hear this...Wish I could think of something to say that may be of some comfort, but I doubt there is much that could ease the shock. Just know that you are in our thoughts at this difficult time. Craig
  20. Guess we were typing at the same time!!! Brilliant minds think alike:thumbsup2:
  21. Might be a good venue for a meet-n-eat, but it will probably be slim pickens on hotel rooms? Like others have said, would really be a neat thing just to walk around and check out all those cars!!!!
  22. I am in SE PA. between Reading/Lancaster area. I get up thru Sunbury on rides every now and then, but I really try to avoid 61 whenever possible. When the weather warms up be glad to meet you for breakfast or lunch somewhere in the middle. Craig
  23. If money is no object I agree the Aux tank and reverse might be nice, but if I was forced to pick just one, I would pick the aux gas tank. The trike rolls so easy I have never had a need for reverse. The full length running boards are nice, they add to the "look" IMO and they keep you alittle drier in the rain. Also give you more options with foot position. Craig
  24. Welcome to the family, I have no experience with that particular dealer, but I do have a Hannigan RSV and I like pretty much everything about it. There are quite a few guys on the site with hannigan kits so I am sure you will get responses to any questions you have. Fire away!! Craig
  25. Unfortunately I have never had the pleasure of shaking your hand Russel, but I have come to know you thru all the years on this site. I always respected your sound judgement and willingness to help with flowers or a card whenever anyone needed them. I wish you all the best in this fight and hope you are at peace. Thanks again for your service! Craig "cecdoo"
