  3. My friends bought envoy got into a bit of trouble pushed onstar.... Lady told them they needed subscription I found that a bit rude to offer something as standard in vehicle and you have to pay a subscription for. My sis on the other hand has no problem paying subscription for stuff like xm and onstar... But her and hubby own car stereo shop. Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk

  8. I can't believe I scoffed at Vtwin and now have went meh it could be good bike maybe capable of rolling the odometer aka pass 99,000 miles with no major maintenance. Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  9. After reading this and knowing Yamaha engineering.... We aren't giving this Vtwin a chance... V4 - vtwin its a VENTURE And its made by Yamaha.. Either way if I had that cash I would buy one... They can only do so much testing, the true test comes from owners who will put 1000's of miles on these. And puc sorry it backfired here if they can do all that with engineering why can't they turn the touring world upside down with this power plant Vtwin bike? Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  10. Prayers up for successful surgery and speedy recovery. Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk

  12. That is the thing he said the guy didn't want to have to charge him to pull plastics and replace the relay, But yet is calling the relay toasty.... How could he know that if he hasn't already pulled the plastics?.....
  13. easiest way to check fuel pump is get a jar and foot of fuel line hook to outlit side of fuel pump turn key on and it should shoot gas from 3-5 seconds more less a short burst of fuel. if you dont see that then move to testing the fuel system, but will add kick stand down and in gear I do not think the fuel pump will kick on till in neutral I could be wrong but I know on the engine kill switch you can rock it back and forth to fill bowls as mentioned above...
  14. Lol actually ill give that one to ya, as in too funny.... But I guess you could say air turbulence... My white walls keep ripping at the Whitehall... Thus allowing tube to get deformed with the run flat aka slime causing tire to be off balance I put a 26.175 tire on the back and the walls are a little thicker... But took me a couple days to figure it out. Didn't think I could pedal fast enuff to create a wobble... But aired up yesterday and seen what was going on. Scary ride home lol ok not so much but that was my Friday drama shoot it Sunday so not yesterday but day b4 making it Friday lol. But love the answer here maybe I should put this motor on bike to make it faster.. Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  15. Don't make sense... How would he know if its toasty if he hasn't pulled the plastic? Sorry just pointing out that him saying toasty really don't make sense... Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk

  21. I know it seems a PITA, But would you rather have a bike you can run 5 tanks thru or do you want a bike that you might drive 5 miles? These bikes need the time and care to bring them back from the dead. Now also it is very hard to find anyone to work on bikes as old as ours, most won't touch it over 15 yrs old. When you find ones that do got to know there 1000s of bikes on the road that are more then 15 yrs old... Hopefully next weekend.
  22. Prayers for your upcoming surgery and may they mend you for another 80 anniversaries!
  23. I tinkered all day putting in new spark plugs as the carbs I have rebuilt seemed to be working great thanks to the video. 35-39 miles to gallon average.... Very pleased with myself now to tear into the set of carbs I took off more specifically number 2 carb. I am thinking either idle jet came loose somehow or mixed up jet screw somewhere. If it turns out to be flaw with carb body I have a spare. Also went to empty parking lot and pulled off some real tight turns and found out real quick how tight I can turn I can turn around within two parking spots!! Two lane road etc. But it is a lot of feather g and using back brake. My brakes are still linked and did just fine Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  24. Yeah all good plans, I really really really miss my home care job now. The latter of your topic here not so much, but glad I got to be for my dear friend June when the cancer took her. All we could do is make her as confortable as possible, I remember the last thing she said to me. Cut me to the core, I am scared. I looked at her she said not of dieing but what might happen to Kevin. Wanted me to keep an eye on him, now that is where I feel bad.... He is in the pen for the rest of his life... that woman was really his ball and chain... I am glad the poster got thru and worked thru the kinks as it is a hard decision no matter how you slice it whether it be brother, sister, aunt, uncle, mom or dad; For that matter your kids is when you have to give in and get the help they need. But I have also seen Senior go postal myself. They may look small or frail but you don't want to be on there bad side...
  25. Damn man you hit the Nail on the head there, specially with glasses. Got to remember he is a male after all and noone wants to admit they did not see something. Just easier to say they blacked out, not saying he isn't but its hard for men to stop and ask for directions and admit when they are lost no matter what our age is!! I like my dad would drive aimlessly hoping to find a road that I knew. After hours if I hadn't found it I would then ask....
