  1. I have an old computer in the closet that is just a home server with a 2Tb drive in it. That drive is formatted with 2 partitions. one partition is very small and has just enough space for the operating system and installed programs to make that computer functional. Then on all of the other computers in the house that actually get used, I have a mapped drive to that monster drive. that is where all of the shared data lives. I also have an external 2T backup on there.
  2. There may be another way, but I have to go to analog audio, then bring that into my computer with a little box that plugs into a USB on computer, then do the conversion to MP3, then move the MP3 to my player. But i do not have a digital anything in my AV system.
  3. Be very careful tightening the valve cover bolts. They are shoulder bolts and if over tightened WILL snap off in the head. Do not tighten them past the recommended torque (10Nm - 7.2 ft lb).

  5. Marks was the only one that I knew of for sure making one. I thought I heard of someone else that either was, or was thinking about making one. Hopefully Dingy will chime in here, he has done a lot of research on this and has knowledge and pics of everything....... Since the V-max is also the same motor, I wonder if you could adapt its exhaust to a Venture????? There have been a few that have rebuilt their collector by welding in 6 new nipples. The can part is not usually what goes, it is the nipples that rust off. to get everything lined up right you may have to install the can and pipes wit the new nipples in them to tack weld everything then remove, weld reinstall. If you can not get 316 or better stainless for the nipples, then you may want to paint the whole collector with BBQ or stove paint to keep the rust down. Don't forget to use a stainless filler rod while welding. Don't laugh, I have seen it often where SS parts were welded and all the welds rusted. There are some threads somewhere on here with pics.

  20. Looks nice, But an 86 should not have a 1200 engine, it should be a 1300.
  21. Where did chat go? I tried both the direct link and the tab up above.
  22. Before you spend any money on parts, tear this one down. That way IF you are looking at a whole engine replacement you will not be left with a pile of new parts.
