  1. HBO has turned Tom Swift into a Gay, Woke Snowflake who hates his father. Seriously?!!!! That's it. The world as I know it is gone. Up is down. Black is white. Cats and Dogs living together. It's the end of days!!!!

  2. Just throw in the towel and move to Cali. At least we have (mostly) good weather. I need someone to keep me company out here.

  4. I’ve known for a while I needed to adjust my cables as the cruise would drop out on hills. I installed the new bars and used longer RSTD cables last week and lost cruise altogether, could feel it try but couldn’t pull it in. After re-routing the cruise cable multiple times I finally figured out the actuator that came on the cables had a small leak🤬🤬🤬. Swapped my old one in and POOF!!! It worked. That brings up my other idea. It’s well documented about some losing 4th gear cruise with the rear gear swap, Wiz and I talked about it in Asheville if the speedo healer was reprogrammed or unhooked if it would work. I had put the healer in before the VMax rear gear. Unhooked it and got 4th gear cruise back. Maybe I missed the info in the past or was too dense to retain it, but it seems to be why only some lost the cruise and others didn’t. I’ll gladly trade the corrected speedo to get my cruise back, we ride several 50-60 mph roads where I like cruise. Guess the healer goes into the spare parts cabinet now.

  5. https://www.zeromotorcycles.com/model/zero-srs This company is about 25 miles from me. They started up in the mid-2000's and were originally making smallish dirt bike style electric bikes. I've occasionally checked their website over their years to see how they were advancing and if they had anything more appealing to me. They've steadily moved from a marginally marketable proof-of-concept to their newest bike, in the link above, which genuinely gets me excited. The Harley Livewire does also. I saw one recently at the grocery store and the way it silently sped away was so Jetson's like, it was awesome. I don't know how truly 'green' these things are, as we've previously discussed. If they are great, that's a bonus, but not my main focus. If not, they are still very cool technology advances packed into motorcycles that at least look appealing to me. They again are very pricey, win-the-lottery purchase bikes, but cool as heck, nonetheless. Keep an eye on Zero, they may well be one of the first to come out with an all electric touring bike, based on the trajectory they've been on since they started.

  7. I guess they have had a price increase. Mine cost $14000 installation included. No regrets here. I had a choice. Trike it or park it. We dearly miss two wheels but you have to play the cards your dealt.

  8. Can't be all that hard, I learned it. It took a minute or two and on occasion a full hour, but I learned it. Now if I can just remember it all.

  9. My thought process going into it was the healer decreased speed sensor readings by 7% while the gear swap increased rpm by 10% at any given speed making those comparisons outside the 4th gear range.

  10. Be careful of those questions. Them Eh Team members up there think slicing ham thin and throwing it on a pizza makes it bacon.

  12. Since its car tired on the rear and no use for motorcycle tire on the front now I would look at going dark side on the front too. Wayyy higher mileage plus more surface contact with the car tire may be a plus.. maybe...

  13. Here ya go @circa1968!! Check this out! Met up with Terry just outside of Moab Utah on one of our 2 month bike trips out west. What a fantastic conversation we had with him. My wife and I enjoy coasting down mountains on our Yamaha Venture - our record of a non stop coast so far is 29 miles at 36 minutes going down into King's Canyon in California. After explaining this to Terry we found a common interest in the silentness he experiences on his Electric Bike (a Zero) and totally understood my interest in what he and his friend, Craig Vetter, are all about!! This was AMAZING!!! More about Terry can be found at: http://www.greencarreports.com/news/1...
