tufftom4 Posted August 27, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 27, 2017 I have bought and sold a couple of Kawasaki Voyagers just like the first gen Ventures I have never paid more than 2,000$ for a low mile one I think this guy is on crack I e-mailed him with what I thought the bike was worth and he came back with a teenage tantrum go figure. https://treasure.craigslist.org/mcy/d/1999-touring-voyager-1200/6281605905.html

luvmy40 Posted August 28, 2017 Share #5 Posted August 28, 2017 She's beautiful, you must admit. But, $6500?! That guy's definitely suffering form delusions of grandeur. BTW, Are those Hitachi carbs on the Voyagers?
Condor Posted August 28, 2017 Share #6 Posted August 28, 2017 The answer is simple... He doesn't want to sell it. It's a vanity CL ad.....
etcswjoe Posted August 28, 2017 Share #7 Posted August 28, 2017 Sounds like a gentleman on Facebook a few years ago trying to sell his millennium for 15K, anyone that offered him what it was actually worth received very rude and nasty replies. RDawson Posted August 28, 2017 Share #8 Posted August 28, 2017 See it all the time. There are two MKII parts bikes in this area priced at what I'd sell mine for ready to ride. One wants $2000 listed as a parts bike, the other wants 1800 for a broke up barely running what he claims is a " super nice bike". The trunk is the only good plastic on it, running on 3 cylinders and not well on those.
Yammer Dan Posted August 29, 2017 Share #9 Posted August 29, 2017 I'll sell Brown Sugar. About er............5000.
djh3 Posted August 29, 2017 Share #10 Posted August 29, 2017 While it does appear to be a nice unit, that is way more than I think the market will bear. I found this 2010 Voyager for less money, less miles and more goodies. I know its a V-Twin but ....... Here is a 90 model over in Sarasota with 23k. https://sarasota.craigslist.org/mcy/d/1990-kawasaki-voyager/6269547714.html Asking 3k
