Kregerdoodle Posted February 24, 2009 Share #4 Posted February 24, 2009 He probably means $40.00 per set You need 3 sets, and the labor per hour sounds about right.., but they may drag their feet.... why don`t you get the pads and change them yourself?? not hard to do... GeorgeS Posted February 24, 2009 Share #7 Posted February 24, 2009 If all you need is a new set of Pads, do it yourself, they are very easy to change!! Takes about 20 Min to change a set of pads. Thats assumeing the rest of your system is working OK. ???

N3FOL Posted February 25, 2009 Share #12 Posted February 25, 2009 I change brake pads on my cars with calipers and/or drums. I've never done it on a motorcycle, but I would imagine it is similar.
KiteSquid Posted February 25, 2009 Share #13 Posted February 25, 2009 His name is Naked Rider It is not Naked Mechanic So I would assume he would do all of his maintaince fully clothed. Once you have changed your brake pads, you know how to do it. SO about ever other oil change you shouls swap the rear pads around to even out the wear. This will save you more $$$$$$$$ as one pad usulaly wears out faster than the other.
