  3. That's exactly the first venture that I ever owned, that was around '85 I believe. Got lots of compliments on it.
  4. I scored a new one from Partzilla last year but I don’t think they have them anymore. Upholsterer probably the best bet now.

  7. That's pretty!!
  8. Sure is good to hear and see the works of the Creator, how 2 little tiny cells became one through love and then grew into a real human being, reflecting not only the mom and dad but more importantly the Creator Himself. Congrats to all of you for being so entrusted.
  9. Congratulations! Happy to hear mom ans baby are doing well. It doesn't take long, my 3 year old grandson is already riding a 2 wheeled ebike on a dirt track! He's s actually pretty darn good at it.

  12. He's asking 2000
  13. I own a 07 RSTD. I would do what ever it takes to get it running. With that milage I would ride it. I have 124,000 on mine it still runs great.
  14. At 40 years on, they're getting rare ! Wasn't me ! Still enjoy mine. Gotta get that 4 brush starter motor, though. The original just won't spin it hard enough anymore.

  16. Carb cleaning, check tank for rust, check/flush all fluids at a minimum. It all depends on the price and how much work you’re willing to do. Check date codes on the tires.
  17. Congrats to both of you!!
  18. Sorry I posted in the wrong forum
  19. I'm looking at a 2005 Royal star, problem is it has sat a couple of years. Put a new battery in it and it turned over but wouldn't start, we took off air cleaner and sprayed just a touch of starting fluid into it and it started. I'm wondering what problems I might be looking at in getting it running correctly. It has 45000 miles on it and seems to have been taken pretty good care of before he was unable to ride anymore. I'm trying to decide if it would be worth considering it or not. Thanks for any advice
  20. Thanks guys! Yes! Much to his mother's chagrin, I'm already looking at starter dirt bikes for him! Though for now, he's really stealing MY riding time! But it's definitely worth it!
  21. It only takes once!
  22. Hate to be "that guy" but, I have never shut off the petcock on my '06 RSV and never had a problem with fuel smell or hydro lock. Maybe just lucky? (maybe just stupid 🤪).
  23. It is with a heavy heart that I received notice that Reggieman was killed in a motorcycle accident. His membership had expired here but he was well known and loved by many. Please keep his wife and family in your prayers.

  26. congratulations! he is a little cutie!
  27. Congratulations
  28. Nah, it's the factory one. My silly @$$ trusted Google AI when it said it had a vacuum actuated petcock. Sounded legit for a feature laden tourer from 07, but alas, there is some serious old school tech on these bikes. I did find elsewhere on here the model petcock i can get to add a vacuum actuated one. Its not a big deal to flip the thing on and off, but ill probably have that on my project list. Just seems proper for it to have one. So, proper use of the petcock will likely clear up my gas smell problem, lol. Thanks!
