Yesterday when we got up it was about 10 below zero here. It is warmer today...actually zero right now and is supposed to climb to a balmy 12 degrees F today. Actually staying fairly warm on the sleds but took the time yesterday to drive into Hayward and picked up a couple of facemasks. Also picked up a couple of very nice RibEyes. It's a tough life here but somebody has to do it.

Does anyone have or have knowledge of the Royal Enfield line. I had a thumper (Meguro made by Kawasaki) in the 60s that I bought from a serviceman. It was a 250 and really could climb a hill. Also I had a 441 BSA that was a screamer for torque. I have been thinking of another.

We made this trek this summer- an absolutely unforgetable ride. Hwy 34 East out of loveland/Ft Collins area. Make the trip in the AM so you can enjoy the climb and decent. The mountains tend to cloud up and give late afternoon showers.
